Fri, 11/5/21, 11:ish a.m.: After an approx. 15 min wait we were sat in a dark, very cold rm. After driving 7 hrs we wanted to relax and eat – BUT the waitress asked me no less than 5 times to order; RUSHING ME: a ‘turning tables’ issue, I guess. I was indecisive – MY MENU WAS OPEN AS I DECIDED – ALWAYS a sign the guest is not ready to order (in my world anyway which consists of over 27 yrs in restaurant field – all positions including mngmnt). We tried to order the PUMPKIN LATTE (advertised special) – I was told THEY COULDN’T MAKE THIS!(?) I ordered *2 scr. w/chs, *loaded hash brn, *crsp bacon, *side of 1 p.cake. My husband ordered *same except his eggs were over easy & *bisc/grvy no p.cake. AFTER CLOSE TO 40 MINUTES: My husband rc’d his order BUT UNCOOKED BACON. I rc’d HASH BROWNS – THAT IS ALL! After mngr came to tbl (she was at many apologizing) and 10 min more, I got an egg – NO CHS & COLD. After a ttl of about 20 min more I rc’d a very COLD p.cake w/ICE COLD BTR. – THESE WERE GIVEN BACK to server. SO ALL I ATE IN 10 HRS: H.BRNS AFTER actually GETTING A BILL I asked for mngr – she wouldn't come out: she took MOST FOOD off but not all. I asked AGAIN for mngr - SHE REFUSED TO COME OUT!! YES – REFUSED! - & we were nice about it - but this, this really got my husband mad & this takes A LOT! The girl we paid said mngr. name was “Miss ??” (I believe the GM) Cracker Brl WASTED OUR TIME, we WASTED OUR $$ & should be ASHAMED. BEYOND HORRIBLE!! U NEED TO FIRE THAT MGR–NO QUESTION OVER 90 MIN–a usual time span for FINE DINING – for me it wasn’t dining at all. When we left we still had 5 hours more driving to do. Not a fan of fast food but thank God, my Big Mac was filling! Cracker Barrel is NOT A FRIEND TO TRAVELERS - they obviously care less about us!

The Cracker Barrel in Athens TN was terrible. We waited 45 minutes for the waitress to ask us what we wanted to drink, another 25 minutes to take our order, then forever for our food to come out and it was wrong but as long as we had to wait we took it anyways!!! The waitress was very rude.... Waste of money and time.

Barely anyone in there. They got nasty because we have a foster home with 8 kids. Told us an hour wait. Not friendly to foster homes.

Wife and I went to Cracker Barrell at the mall near Jacksonville Florida Airport. They served my wife salad on a dirty plate. Now I understand a dirty fork or spoon , covid and everything but a dirty plate with food that wasn't salad. With Covid going on they could have ended up making someone seriously sick or kill them. Second time with a bad experience at that Cracker Barrel. There won't be a third time.

Waited 32 minutes and nobody even took our drink order! I told the hostess we were leaving because no one took our drink order and all she said was okay. I told the lady at the register what happened and she did not care either. I will not be back to this location and I will be leaving you a horrible review on any site that I can find. I wanted a nice meal for my daughter as I was bringing her back to college. You will never see us again highly disappointed as this is one of our favorite restaurants to visit.

I have always loved eating at cracker barrel but am now extremely disappointed that they are serving alcohol. Cracker barrel has always been family centered and wholesome but serving alcohol that causes so much harm within families and society at large is so opposite to what the principles of the company have always been. I surely do wish the would reconsider their decision and put the well being of their patrons above profit.

No longer the same , food sucks it was so NASTY! GOOD BYE. Used to be so good!
