Door dash didn't deliver and cracker barrel won't credit my account saying it was Door dash problem and Door dash says it's cracker barrel problem

Recently we went to the Amarillo location to eat lunch. We arrived around 11:50 am was seated right away. Server came to table took our drink order then came back to get our food order. Food order was placed we sat there and waited until 12:40 other tables that came in after us received their food we were still waiting decided to go elsewhere. Went to check out to pay for drinks. Manager was call she advised me that our food was ready I told her we had been waiting for 40 minutes for food. She said the order wasn't turned in but 15 minutes age. I explained that we had order before that. She didn't seem to understand. Very disappointed in service by server. If she had told us that she forgot to place order we would have stayed. People make mistakes and I understand that but we were lied to.

The service was ok, nothing special, and they didn't return to ask if we wanted more of our drinks. As we were heading out, in the corner of my eye, a bloody cockroach scattered across the floor omg I died even during the day with the lights on eeeekkkk. I won't be dining there ever again.

U need to really get rid of that Guest Relations number if no one is going to answer it. I even called when u first opened up the same recording is always on it. Finally, I got another number which said leave message for a supervisor to call. No one called. When I called back the person on the phone tried to get smart with me.

I was wondering if my bad Cracker Barrel experience was a one-off or if others were experiencing problems too, so sought out these reviews. I’m glad I did! Misery loves company! I pre-ordered a single Thanksgiving dinner and drove 13 miles to pick it up at 2pm on T-day from the Northglenn, CO, CB only to find a line of 35-50 cars in the pick-up line. The arrangement was supposed to be to park in a pick-up lot and they would bring your order to your car! After 45 minutes I had moved 25 feet. Cars were idling the whole time or turning off their engines and restarting. I left without my dinner, realizing it would have taken 3-5 hours at the rate things were going and knowing the food quality would be questionable. I asked for and received a full refund with no apologies — and I feel lucky at that. Cracker Barrel used to be my favorite place to go. After my experience and reading those of others, I would rather avoid the frustration and sadness of remembering what a great place Cracker Barrel used to be.

The quality of food has gone so far down its disgusting. They overcharged my bill, then would only remove $8.00 of the mistake instead of $11 that they overcharged me. I have traveled all over the country all of my life and always stopped at a Cracker Barrel at every rest stop. We will never ever eat at a Cracker Barrel again as long as we live and I mean never

Cracker Barrel website is a joke! Curbside pickup is just as bad. Website: Since 2019/20 (now its Dec. 2022) you are only able to place an order using a newly created profile, after that it becomes impossible to finalize a food order, since once you click on "place order' what you get is usually an "oops! can't load the shopping cart" and no option to fix the problem. Once that happens it is impossible to remove items from cart. Curbside pick-up---Cracker barrel phone system doesn't work! To pick-up food curbside, you park on the designated curbside pick-up spot and call the corresponding number. About 90% of the time, after listening to the recording and dialing pick-up option as instructed you will hear: "Your call cannot be transferred at this time, please call back later"!!! If you are able to finally able to talk to a store employee, you will probably wait and wait and no one will bring your order. If you try calling the pick-up number again, you will most likely get the same error message. Since you already paid for your order, your only hope will be to walk into the store. If the store is crowded you will chuck it to how busy employees are, but be not deceived---it also happens when there are hardly any the store is nearly empty. The guys at the counter counter will have no idea that someone was supposed to get the order curbside to you. Even before 2020 Cracker Barrel's menu was shrinking. That in 2020 the service and menu was abysmal is to be expected and I will give that a pass. In 2021 the service was still abysmal as their restaurants were woefully understaffed. By Dec 2022 I would have expected them to have had time to clean up their act but I now realize that the only one way to not get frustrated with Cracker Barrel is not doing business with them. I hope something decent replaces that chain really soon! The date of my latest experience is noted below.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Just had Thanksgiving dinner at Cracker Barrel and was the worst one I've ever had. The food was cold. The Sweet Potato casserole was the consistency of apple sauce, the dressing was the consistency of grits and it was very bland. Turkey and beans were just eatable. I asked for mashed potatoes because I don't eat sweet potatoes and was charged $4 more. Plus I paid $20 for the meal and potatoes. Gave most of the meal to my dogs. I will never order it again and I do NOT recommend it to others. On a positive note the pie and rolls were good.
