This Cracker Barrel offers the worst takeout service of any restaurant I’ve ever seen. Leanne, a so-called manager, is in way over her skills and abilities. She has no quality control skills; she lies like a sieve to customers and her mendacious nature is disgraceful. She has more excuses than a prisoner going to jail. I ordered dinner through a delivery service and 7 of 9 sides were missing. The incompetent, untrained staff left out 7 of the 9 sides. UNBELIEVABLE!!! When I called the restaurant, the workers, including Alene, Jonisha and Leann played telephone tag leaving me on the phone waiting for over 10 minutes. I ordered the sides again using a different delivery service and on 2 of the 7 were delivered. When I called back in utter disbelief at the level of disorganization and incompetence, Leann told me she would make sure the missing items were delivered. Nothing was delivered. Cracker Barrel just stole my money, wasted my time and lied like seasoned liars. Cracker Barrel has the food rip-off business on lock and Leann is one of their stars. Don’t waste your time doing business with them. Hampton has so many reputable eateries who have professional food service workers, there’s no need or reason to waste your time or money.

The worst customer service ever. On July 4, I had a meal at Cracker Barrel. When I was presented with a check I saw that I could do this mobile at my table. This had worked before. I put in the relevant required information only to have the website freeze. I tried again. Same thing. So I paid at the counter. When I arrived home there was a call from the Fraud Prevention Unit of my bank asking me whether I had authorized a $1.00 charge to some no-name legal outfit in Denver, I believe. I said I did not even though I suspected this was related to my ill-fated Cracker Barrel transaction. Long story short, I ended up cancelling my account and waiting a week for a new credit card. Extremely annoying. When I called the manager of the local Cracker Barrel, he said, "Oh yeah, we've had a lot of complaints about 'pay-at-your-table' transactions." Well, then get rid of the lousy third-party outfit. I am done with Cracker Barrel forever.

UPDATE: I don’t like to leave bad reviews and I understand if you get busy or if you are out of a product. I have been to this location 5 times in a week. Wasting my time and gas I guess. My name was suppose to be on a list for a product. Not that this matters but I just had heart surgery and took my time to go here not feeling well to do business with this store. I left my name and number not once but 4 times. Again, I get if you are out of the product and I get if you are busy but it’s poor customer service to not return a call after all these visits and being told you will called in the morning. I’m not mad they don’t have what I need or actually I don’t know if they do or not, no one will call me back. I’ve worked in the industry my entire life and this is a business killer. You need real leadership and commitment to your guest. If you don’t intend to ever call then say so, I’m good with that too. But to say something and never do it is not ok. Beware of the League City, TX Location UPDATE 1: Corporate reached with and email to call the Manx I did and it tells me to go online. Doesn't sound like they care about helping. Just another lie to tell and to waste your time. UPDATE 2: Needless to say weeks into this they aren’t really interested in fixing the situation or even talking to me. When they asked to talk to me, I didn’t ask to talk to them, but customer service was so important to them they want to talk to me and resolve my problem. They have giving me a free dessert on them??? How insulting that I’m not worth a call or to even figure out what’s wrong but to send me a free dessert like I have a bad meal. You can shove you free dessert up your pie hole, I’ll pass. Never again will I go to this place and I know little oh me won’t matter but over time you will create many little oh me a with your lack of care. When business are struggling like never before the best approach is to brush off a devote customer.

Food is bad didn't taste good at all and my carry out was just as badwe had to put our food in the trashcan at home wasted money.

They were not very busy, 15 people in the dining room, Sat. 5:00pm yet it took forever (20 minutes) to get our dinners, Roast Beef & Mash potatoes. We have been getting this for at least 20 years since the store opened and its always good. This time the roast beef was stringy and tough and dinner came to us barely warm. I blame the cook and management, the server was helpful and courteous.

I JUST ATE MY LAST MEAL IN A Cracker Barrel! I have eaten in several different locations between Gainesville, Fla and Port Charlotte, Fla the organization seems to have a systemic training problem of wait staff personnel. ALL locations have a problem of the waitresses/waiters not acknowledging that a new customer is waiting for service. It should not take an exuberant amount of time to acknowledge them and take drink orders. Three minutes or more may not seem like much, but it is when you're waiting to be served. The portions are never the same. Even in the same restaurant! I was told by a server that this is a five star restaurant and the portions are to reflect that. Well, here again there is a systemic problem. And one last thing; set a damn dress/appearance code! My waitress tonight in Brooksville, Fla had an approximate total 12 piercings in her ears, one nose ring and a lip piercing! Cracker Barrel used to be cracker jack but not anymore. I believe a makeover is badly needed.

Mediocre food and terrible service. The waitress never refilled our drinks and when we tried to get her attention she kept walking like she didn't hear us. I understand if you're busy but at one point we saw like four employees standing around talking about the decorations on the wall.

ordered chick n dumplings from grubhub got like three pieces of chicken and two dumplings
