★☆☆☆☆ Unprofessional and unhelpful. Buyer beware. My order ( #144780) was delivered to an address that is not mine, and I never received it. When I contacted Cowhides Direct, they were unprofessional and unhelpful from start to finish. They told me the shipment was “complete on their end,” refused to send a replacement, and made no effort to help me recover my order. Their only suggestion was that I go knock on a stranger’s door. They wouldn’t contact FedEx for me, follow up, or take any responsibility. Their reply was cheerful and dismissive, as if I were the one who should solve the problem. A reputable company stands behind its customers when something goes wrong. Cowhides Direct left me without my merchandise and without my money, with no resolution. I’m deeply disappointed in how this was handled, and I will not be ordering from them again. If you choose to buy from them, know that you’re on your own if anything goes wrong.

Horrible customer service. They could not get the exchange order correct and never gave me a discount. On my order as promised … they are never available by phone and have a terrible return policy. Buyer beware!!

Wish I had researched, specifically, the Google reviews before purchasing. I've spent over $1000 on a sheep skin and a cowhide rug. I'd like to give a better review but unfortunately I have yet to receive the items. I will update this review upon receipt of the items purchased. With that being said on average the delivery time is from 3 to 5 business days. I called the company on day 7 and the items had not moved towards shipping physically nor in their system. If I had not called I dont know when the items would have shipped. Now I have to wait 2+ weeks instead of the average 3 to 5 business days. The company refuses to expedite shipping for customer satisfaction. Poor customer service.

Where should I start?, a 10 to 20% restocking fee on a rug that's already $300. No refund on the sales tax, no refund on the shipping. You have to pay to ship it again. Another $25 $30 the total I paid to return one rug was $100. The others were comparable. I ordered too many rugs accidentally, and I was show nothing that indicated I would be paying all these charges to return the rug. During the checkout process, or during the return process.. you'd think with all the customer service they have they would be able to let you know. Hey, you're going to be paying a lot of money to return this rug. Maybe you should think about keeping it. I would have kept the rug a $300 rug that cost $100 to return. They wouldn't work with me on even giving me a discount on getting another rug because I wanted to get a sheepskin rug. I ordered one and I returned it with my first order. So I never got one. I would never order with this company again even though they have a lot of customer service on hand They do not work with you and instead just shove policies down your throat, policies that you've never seen or heard of because you probably have to click the fine print
