These are the worst car seat covers I…
These are the worst car seat covers I have ever owned; I am giving them four stars so people read this. I bought a set of front and rear at 1/2 off for my Lexus RX450h. Coverado claims that they 3D scan the seats for the best fit. There was a large bag of random clips to use to tighten/connect the straps to various options. 1. The material is not comfortable on long drives: they rub as you slide, are not soft, are hot in the heat and cold when it's cold. 2. The first thing I noticed with I opened the covers is that the sides of the front seats are fabric and not the Faux Leather the image led me to believe they were 3. It's clear the front seats were a generic fit as the clips to connect and tighten were very difficult and not made for the car, the front of the seat covers sag, which would not happen if they were made to fit. 4. It's the rear covers that really felt like they gave zero care in the design. In the past I have always ordered custom Wet O'kole neoprene seat covers and they consistently fit might seats like a glove. The rear seats in the Lexus are 60/40 so you can put them down when you need to. a. The head rests are covered by a single flap, yes a flap, that folds up from the front cover and over the headrest, that's it, just up and over. Lazy design! I have black seats in my car and wanted the dark grey look, so much for a color change. I'm actually pissed about what little effort they put into this design. b. It gets worse: the rear seat covers do not slip over the seats, they have size covers on the doors side of the cover, then they are flat at the center piece. At the centerpiece they connect to a flat piece of cover with velcro, yes velcro, which reminded me of taping construction paper together in grade school. That combo runs over the seat and up the back, not at 60/40. c. The design of the rear seat cover is so bad, that you cannot fold one seat down at a time and to do both creates a rubber-band mess of velcro and stretched fabric. - really awful. I bought these because I thought they would be decent after everything I read on line, but none of those reviews were accurate. They were 50% off at the time and when I called customer service to complain they apologized about the poor design and offered me another 50% off. They offered me cash to keep these extremely poorly designed seat covers, because even they knew how bad they were. I refused the money and told them I wanted them to send me decent rear seat covers that would work and were designed well, because you know, they 3D scan the seats and work with designers to design, right? No, they could send me what I thought I was buying. I would keep looking.
