**★☆☆☆☆ – COUNTRY Financial: Very Disappointing Service for a Small Business** As the owner of M+S Heating and Air Conditioning in Sparks, Nevada, I want to warn other business owners about my experience with COUNTRY Financial Insurance. We have gone through three COUNTRY Financial agents due to poor service and unprofessional treatment. Our first agent, Cindy Ledbetter, was rude during telephone conversations. We switched to Anna Fernandez, who subsequently became unreachable for more than three weeks. We then transferred to Cesar Minera. Our dealings with Mr. Minera have primarily consisted of routine email requests for Certificates of Insurance (COIs), including those required by NetVendor. I've spoken with him approximately three times in an entire year. Most recently, Mr. Minera told me I would be doing him a favor by moving my insurance business elsewhere because I was too difficult to work with. Apparently, expecting an insurance agent to handle routine COI requests and respond professionally makes a paying commercial customer difficult. Running a small business is challenging enough without having to repeatedly chase your insurance agent for basic administrative services. After three agents and repeated disappointments, I would not recommend COUNTRY Financial to other business owners based on my experience. **Business owners deserve responsive, courteous, professional insurance representation. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with COUNTRY Financial.**

What I mainly want to do is WARN ANYONE who is going to buy Country Insurance to go somewhere else. We've had our life Insurance with them for years, but now that we've gotten to our 70s they dropped us like a hot potatoes. I just received a notice that my payment for this month is over $1,064.66!!! And my wife's is $360!!! Isn't THAT WHY someone buys "LIFE INSURANCE?" And, we've been with them for MANY years; so much for loyalty and TRUST!! I'd better get some boards and nails and plan on making our own casters and have a farewell dinner at McDonalds.

Me and my wife for senior citizens made a claim after a storm and they paid approximately about 3/4 of the payout and then had to fight to get the rest which I have not got yet the appraiser will not return my calls this is very frustrating so now I have to live with the job not being done it's very sad

I have been a loyal customer of Country Financial for 5+ years with no claims. When I have my first claim they hide behind the fine print in the policy and want to pay less than half of the cost to replace my roof. The communication with the claims adjuster and his manager has been horrible. I would not recommend Country Financial to anyone.

Been a loyal customer for years. When I first started with country my insurance bill was at 290.00. It’s now at 435.00. Most of my increases have happened in the last eight months. When I was in a car accident when somebody had ran a red light, I feel they did not go to bat for me at all. When my car was being fixed in the shop, they refused to pay the $200 extra at the shop needed to fix my car and being how I am living paycheck to paycheck I couldn’t afford the 200 so I had to take a loss on my car. I didn’t get compensated for anything whatsoever. I lost my car, which just had a brand new battery in it. It was only a week old and a full tank of gas and new tires and since I needed a car for work, I had to go to a car dealership and lease a car which in turn gave me $400 a month payments that I have to pay for 6 years, another expense that I really couldn’t afford, but since it was needed for work I had no other choice. $435.00 a month for two cars (the other car is my husbands for work) that are not getting any newer is absolutely ridiculous. I messaged my agent today and if I don’t get a resolution on this, then I’m definitely switching to a different company.

I was a Country Financial customer for approximately 17 years and maintained multiple policies with the company, including Home, Auto, Life, and Umbrella coverage. During the severe storm events that impacted our area in December 2025, our home sustained significant roof damage. Water entered our garage during the storm, creating an immediate concern regarding further property damage. What followed was a lengthy and frustrating claims process involving inspections, disputes regarding the scope of damage, and substantial delays in reaching resolution. Despite maintaining coverage with Country Financial for nearly two decades and paying premiums faithfully, I found myself spending months attempting to obtain fair treatment of my claim. As the dispute continued, I incurred approximately $11,000 in attorney fees while trying to protect my interests and pursue what I believed was a reasonable claim. Ultimately, I reached a point where continuing the fight no longer made financial sense. Pursuing litigation would have required significantly more legal expense than the amount remaining in dispute. My disappointment is not limited to the claim outcome itself. It is the overall experience: years of customer loyalty appeared to have little value when I needed assistance most. Instead of feeling supported by my insurer during a major weather-related loss, I felt forced into an exhausting and costly battle over coverage and damages. As a result of this experience, I terminated all of my policies with Country Financial and moved my insurance coverage elsewhere. I have also recommended to my friends, business associates, and family members, "BUYER BEWARE". I encourage prospective customers to carefully evaluate how claims are handled, particularly major property claims, and not focus solely on pricing or sales promises when selecting an insurance carrier. BOTTOM LINE - Country Financial did not fix our storm damaged roof.

These guys take freaking forever to respond! I have to keep on texting them multiple times for them to get back to me about a claim of another driver hitting my vehicle. I am not satisfied with this insurance company and never will I ever recommend getting through w/them especially if this is how slow they are to respond. Unreliable and slow.

Tried not to extend a policy, 4 calls, 5 emails from them charging me etc, etc.... the worst communications and customer service ever, Local Agent also no help at all.
