When placing my order
When placing my order, I accidentally entered an incorrect delivery address. Within minutes after completing the order, I contacted Corten+ by email, which appears to be the only available customer contact method. Despite sending multiple emails immediately after the order, I received no response. Only later was I informed that the goods had already been dispatched and that changing the address was no longer possible. Under EU consumer-protection principles, traders are expected to act in good faith, provide effective communication, and make reasonable efforts to resolve issues when notified promptly. In this case, my timely attempts to correct the address were not acknowledged or addressed. Had there been a response within a reasonable timeframe, the issue could likely have been resolved before dispatch. The lack of timely communication prevented any corrective action. Based on this experience, I find the level of customer service and communication below what can reasonably be expected from an EU-based online retailer.
