Corporate Capitol Solutions was a great experience. Overall the process was straight forward, reasonable and lived up to what we agreed to at the start of the process. However, I did have a few surprises that did not make the experience 5 stars: 1. The firm conducting the appraisal was not from the area and as a result it came in at an amount that was very conservative. 2. A few terms of the loan were a surprise on the day of the closing. I suggest Corporate Capital confer on firms to use for the appraisal process for secured loan and that all terms and/or process issues that may delay loan funding be disclosed upfront.

Good Morning, Terry! First, I'd like to start by saying that we are very surprised and sorry to hear that you did not have a 5-star experience. At Corporate Capital we strive to be as thorough ang transparent throughout the lending process as we possibly can. And "5-stars" is always our goal. With regards to the appraisals on your two properties, we use a National Appraisal Management Company who assigns local appraisers to each and every file. Unfortunately, to ensure the integrity of the appraisal, we do not have the capability to ask for the location of the inspector prior to accepting their quote. That being said, the same appraiser was used for both of your projects and lived in Virginia, roughly 30-35 minutes away from both of the appraisal sites. So you can rest assured that the resulting appraisal values were not due to lack of knowledge of the area. Regarding the surprises you encountered on the day of closing, this is news to us. Please give Robert or Joe a call if you can so we can get to the bottom of that for you. We never want our clients to feel surprised by anything during the closing process.
