My greatest experience with Contrarian Thinking has been the incredible community. From the early days of joining, a few standout individuals have made my experience particularly rewarding and beneficial. The initial coursework was a bit challenging to get through at times, but the newer course materials are a significant improvement—better quality videos and more concise, actionable information. The resources are well-organized, easy to access, and referenced in multiple places, making them simple to revisit when needed. I've found that the more I engage with the community—whether through helping others, attending calls, or going to events—the more value I get in return. Being surrounded by motivated and intelligent people has been a major source of inspiration for me. Although I haven’t acquired a business yet in my nearly a year with Contrarian Thinking, this is more reflective of changes in my own circumstances and level of involvement. I feel closer than ever to making a deal and am excited to see what growth and improvements the community will bring in the coming months. Overall, Contrarian Thinking has been an incredibly motivating and enriching experience. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in business acquisition or personal growth.

This community is the best of the best. I don’t say that lightly. There is so much relevant (relevant being the key word) it will make your mind spin. The people within the community are true experts in their fields. The Knowledge given here to start or Acquire a business, Is something anyone even thinking about the idea I should experience. Community will save you hundreds of hours and thousands upon thousands of dollars and mistakes that could be made along the way

Contrarian Thinking's Main Street Accelerator is definitely an investment I would make again! You learn from successful business owners, are provided tools and systems to determine if a business ownership opportunity is the right one for you and are a part of a community that truly brings their "A" game for each other, contributing their expertise and genuine enthusiasm in your quest of owning your own business.

I've been a part of the Contrarian group since June of '23. The course, resources and people helped push me off the ledge to buy my first business. I don't know that I would have without them. I felt confident going into my deal knowing what I had learned from the group and had the collective knowledge of multiple experts analyzing my deals. Since that time I've leveraged all the brainpower of the group to help run my new business. Plus there are people who are 2, 3, 4, and 20 steps ahead of me - that's the room I want to be in. If you're serious about biz buying, so should you.

The course is decent but the size and activity level of the community is better. They seem to be working really hard to make sure everyone who asks for help or feedback gets it. I also appreciate the emphasis they put on members being generous with one another and the facilitators work hard to make themselves available. I also attended the community event, Main St Over Wall St and was impressed with the caliber of members I met. Most people were already successful business owners or high paid employees in their respective industries looking to acquire.

I've been part of this community for the better part of a year and it is, by far, the best community for those looking to acquire a business. The community is huge, active, and very supportive. When you need help with something, people show up to help you out. The community has members across the world--but is definitely U.S.-focused--and has regular events, including a big annual conference that has been one of my favorite business experiences. Folks in your local community also get together for regular, informal meetups to get to know one another, share experiences, and "network" in a way that feels like talking to friends, not self-interested people. Educationally, the program and community is very action oriented. There are some textbook, educational components, but far and away people are action oriented. They want you actually doing things. Actually talking to brokers, actually reviewing financials, actually negotiating deals, etc. Can't stress enough how valuable this community is to me and I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am in my entrepreneurship journey without it. Can you learn these things on your own? Probably. But doing this on your own would take years and years with minimal support and with the unshakeable feeling that you're not quite sure if you're doing things correctly. I'm far and away more educated and confident in SMB acquisitions because of it. Come join us!
