Contrarian ThinkingReviews of contrarianthinking.co

This community has such an amazing collaborate spirit and everyone is focused on the goal of ownership, building something and the freedom to work a business. The supportive network and the combined knowledge, experience and the courage in the Contrarian community cannot be found anywhere else!

I've been a member of the CT community for several months - and would highly recommend the programme. It's almost like an MBA for those who want to buy a business. They teach you what you need to know and where to focus your attention. It has several useful components. 1. Online curriculum - this was incredibly insightful and videos were high quality with excellent tutors. You can watch in your own time and rewind as you need. 2. Weekly calendar of calls that teach you how to do things and ask questions - all very practical and lead by brilliant Deal Coaches and Ambassadors. 3. Tools, calculators etc - you can access all their tools and this is great if you're not from a financial background. 4. Online community - there are members at different stages of their journeys and you can engage with them and learn from them. Bounce ideas off. Complain when you need. Just a great bunch of people. The only drawback for me has been that it is very USA centric. 90% applies for us in regions like Australia & NZ. But we can't access the US SBA loan, so this does heavily affect how we go about financing a business purchase and brings a whole lot of challenges with it.

Great community, have learned so much

Great resources and a fantastic community of experts!

Having acquired three businesses before joining and doing several small start ups, I only wish this resource had been available to me earlier. The insights and guidance provided would have saved me countless headaches in areas like partnership agreements, operating agreements, deal structuring, financing, and due diligence. The expertise and credibility of the CT team are truly invaluable—helping entrepreneurs avoid costly mistakes while equipping them with practical knowledge. Another invaluable aspect is the community they’ve built: a network of supportive, generous people I would never have crossed paths with otherwise. As I move forward with future acquisitions, I have full confidence knowing the CT team is in my corner. The value far exceeds the cost, and I’m grateful to be part of it.

I love the weekly deal review calls and meeting new members that share the same mindset on this acquisition journey! The people managing the community have insight I can trust!

The community and experts are worth every penny. From the most basic to the most expert level, there is knowledge to gain from every call. Lots of variety and people giving feedback, always.

Contrarian thinking has helped me understand steps that I have been missing on my business buying and evaluating. They have helped me open my eyes to possibilities that have been right in front of me the whole time :) I am so thankful to of found Codie and her team they are truly next level!!
