The deal calculator along with any of the "tech" associated with it i.e. Bizscout, has never worked since April when I purchased it. Not one single deal I have inputted has been able to save numbers on a web page. Not one business on Bizscout is "up to date" on whether or not the business is still available for sale. This is elementary level programming. Codie means very well, but she is so far removed from the day-to-day operations at this point. The service is highly overpriced and not worth it. You pay for the network. I don't need anyone to hand hold me and I am aware of the risks purchasing the businesses. Whatever you are promising is available as a tool SHOULD WORK. I do not expect my business acquisitions success to succeed due to Contrarian Thinking/Academy however they are rebranding it. The TOOLS should work.

2 months in and I am very happy with my decision to join the Contrarian Community. There is a lot of content. There are a lot of coaching calls. Many company employees and ambassadors have reached out. I even drove hours for a local community Meetup on Sunday. I wish that there was a little more one on one time with others with experience.

I would not have bought my first business if it wasn’t for this community. Being part of this community is motivating and encouraging. The journey is not easy and leaning on the community and the knowledge offered really makes all the difference. I can’t say better things about this group. Best decision I’ve made to invest in myself.

I started in August of 2024. Before that date I had no idea how to buy a business or even that I could. I knew I wanted to so that is why I join Contrarian Thinking. The real life experience from everyone here is amazing, the help that everyone shares is all amazing! Without this group there is no way I would be looking at businesses to buy. Thank you to all!!!

I think everything has been awesome from the start. From the sales call to the fulfillment, everything that was promised was delivered. Don't get me wrong, you still need to put in work but this group was built in a way that supports hard workers. If you need any guidance, there are MNL's, multiple groups, coaches, events, etc. If you need professional connections, they have that. If you need to cry, they have a shoulder for you to lean on. There's in-person and virtual events. Everyone is friendly and looking to collaborate. I seriously appreciate all the hard work this team puts in.

Best thing that happened to me. For years I wanted to do a side hustle but just didn’t know how. Then I started following Codie on YT and loved her content and practicality. One thing I did different than what she advices - I quit my job and jumped in to Contrarian Academy full time. Because I’d saved some money and could afford to (I was much later in my career) - you need to evaluate your situation for yourself. I took 3 months to complete the program and started reviewing different businesses. The content is so practical and based on lessons learned from plenty of others - not just experts, but peers. You learn about your deal box, what to look for, how to setup a deal team - all kinds of things, across all kinds of businesses. Because I was intentional, I was able to leverage the skills built from the program to acquire two businesses in the past two years. It’s not easy, nobody tells you it is. But it is doable, and you’ve got plenty of support from the community through your whole journey. If you’re an entrepreneur but just struggling with how to get started, try this program - you can’t go wrong. One thing to note - I see people who have a W4 job join the community - of them, the ones who are truly focused and intentional about business acquisitions - setting deadlines for themselves, and hitting them - are the ones who successfully end up acquiring a business. Many in my cohort couldn’t make the time even 2 years later because their W2s required a lot of their time.
