Conscientious Emigration™ ConsultingReviews of conscientiousemigration.io

Elizabeth took the time to gather context and details so she could give me a comprehensive picture. The amount of info and detail I received in her work up was impressive, and it was very helpful to get some ideas on which places would be best for us. In all things Elizabeth was timely, warm, professional, and kind. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Elizabeth is a MARVEL. I *always* prefer to work with small companies or independent contractors that are driven by values and standards for doing everything they can to HELP people. It shouldn't be as rare as it is, dammit; so when I find such an organization, I make sure to call them out. Conscientious Emigration Consulting Services focuses on providing affirming, detail-oriented services, especially for marginalized and traumatized groups looking to relocate. And she and her husband Wes also have an organizational nonprofit. Conscientious Emigration Consulting Services is one of those truly remarkable, ethical, moral, and forthright companies, and Elizabeth (attorney and emigration expert) is all of those things AND a delight to work with. Simply put, Conscientious Emigration has been fantastic! Their Comprehensive Emigration Support service helped my sister and her husband find the home of their dreams in record time! They provided immigration visa research and support, logistics planning, and locations / housing advice on "which section of town", for example, might be best for you and your family based on your hobbies and/or food preferences, for example. Elizabeth helps with EVERYTHING. She even helped me with my broken Spanish since she's bilingual! You can set up an "Exploratory Call", as I did, to discuss your needs, timeline, and the scope of work required, and once agreed upon, Elizabeth will take care of the rest of it and run it all down. She dots every "i" and crosses every "t", and is an absolute JOY to work with while doing so. I'd book her sooner, rather than later...because once the word gets out on how fantastic Elizabeth and her company are, her rates may be higher and she'll likely be booked up just when you need her. Just having her perspective and expertise "in your pocket" relieves an enormous amount of anxiety...for a subject matter that is itself positively laden with anxiety-prone triggers. She helps break everything down into manageable chunks, and can even act as a filter to prevent you from being overwhelmed. Seriously...if you're reading this because you're seriously considering relocating and understand the enormous ROI you obtain by having a subject matter expert like Elizabeth at your side?...Then you need to just set up the consult and sign up, already. You can thank me later... =)

Elizabeth was exactly who I needed to help me and my 2 teens emigrate out of the US. It was one of the most difficult times of my life and she helped me stay organized, calm, and informed of things I needed to know. She answered all my questions, took on any tasks that she could, and gave solid level-headed realistic advice. She arranged things for my arrival and made herself available on our "go" day. It made all the difference that she has lived experience of emigrating out of the US to escape oppression. I had met with other companies and they seemed centered on people who were moving out of the US for fun or on a lark (which is fine to do, but it wasn't what we were doing). Elizabeth provided support that was thoughtful and contextual to our situation. My teens are doing great now. When her name comes up in conversation, they express to me how grateful they are for her help in getting us here too.

As an American citizen, I have lived and worked abroad in several countries, and had always thought to retire somewhere sunny where my few dollars saved would stretch the farthest. I took that step, somewhat suddenly, about 18 months ago. Things were not as I had hoped they would be financially, so I really needed help getting paperwork and legal matters wrapped up as quickly as possible. My personal situation was a bit unusual too, but Elizabeth was completely flexible and available to research any contingencies thoroughly. I can not thank her enough for helping me get so much squared away so fast, and with lots of wisdom, kindness, and positive energy. I think if people really knew how easy it was to relocate, there would be so much more of it, especially now, for Americans really feeling the pinch in these economic times. If you want to go, GO, but be sure to hire the best to help you get there with the fewest glitches possible. If it seems overwhelming, there is a truly wonderful resource available: Conscientious Emigration Consulting. They will help you make the best move of your life!

Our initial consultation with Conscientious Emigration showed that they don't just talk the talk, they walk the walk. Elizabeth's advice was thoughtful and comprehensive. More importantly, though, it was values-centered. I would recommend a consult to anyone looking to leave the U.S.

Working with Elizabeth was an absolute game-changer in our emigration process. What had once felt overwhelming and unattainable suddenly became clear and manageable with her guidance. She took so much of the guesswork and worry out of the equation, breaking down complex requirements into practical next steps and providing reassurance at every turn. Her expertise and thoughtful approach not only gave us confidence but also made the entire experience far less stressful. We’re so grateful for her support and highly recommend her services to anyone considering such a big transition.
