I did one speaking class with swoosh english and got good feedback from Sir Alex. I use that feedback along with my practice sessions for my speaking, writing, reading and listening to prepare for my exam. To make it clear I was unable to leave my country due to the pandemic so I had to sit the TOEFL IBT as this was the only one offered there. I still use my Ielts materials to prepare but was not able to study everyday due to my tight work schedule. The strategies taught are very important to follow as they will help you to be successful and to complete all the tasks in the exam. Thanks to Connecticsusa for allowing me this opportunity to be apart of the swoosh english group. I really appreciate the time and effort of both teams. Thank you again.

First of all, thank you for patiently guiding us through the process. IELTS is very challenging especially when one does not have enough confidence to use the english language. But thanks for the free review and lots of encouraging words. It really boosted all the confidence in us. With the current situation, i struggled with reviewing and working 12hour shift and overtime. I know my weaknesses so i focused first on the difficult part, which is writing. I attended the review for almost a month only. And was reminded, time and again to have a target each week. On the last week, before my exam, I prayed without ceasing. I focused that time with reading, listening, and speaking. I watched a lot of korean dramas with english subtitles, to improve my reading and speaking. I used youtube and podcast for listening and speaking. It was a mixed emotion the day before the exam itself. I just reminded myself all the points i have to do. I did forgot some of it and I had my pauses. I just followed the instructions from the review and moved forward. I had a speaking buddy but she was also busy and tired to talk too. Finally, the results came, although my lowest was reading and writing, my scores for listening and speaking pulled the over-all scores up. My advise is know your strengths and weaknesses. Focus and confidently face the questions from the reviews. And if you get a low score, always monitor yourself. Think positive because we all have a room to improve. Make the most out of the review.

I would like to thank Connetics USA together with Swoosh English for guiding and motivating me in my IELTS exam. To Ms. Tanya Freedman, Jennifer, Alex and all who helped me with my IELTS journey, thank you ❤️ I started a couple of months ago with Connetics. I am very happy that Connetics offer free IELTS Scholarship with Swoosh English. Swoosh English offers guided, organize IELTS COURSE which really helped me. I like the way that they have both live classes together with courses/ milestone level i need to accomplish which gave me more time and options to study. Each Milestone has all the things you need ,it includes videos, quizzes as well as offline videos which you can use if you cant attend live classes. This helped me practice my listening, reading, speaking and writing skills. For my speaking skills, i tried as much as possible to embrace English, i don’t usually speak english at home but i started doing so. I watch netflix english series and news and tried to read short clips. All of these together with My review with swoosh i was able to make it. One of the advice i can give is, make a study plan, try to schedule what you have to do, so that you have a goal to meet. Second, be consistent, there are times that you don’t have time to study because of work, its okay during your free time you can catch up and make the most of that time, just don’t give up, continue practicing. Think positive, there are times when you struggle with English, dont give up, you can do it! always have a positive attitude, this can help you build that confidence. Eventually, i took the test for the first time and successfully passed it on my first try. I got 7.5 in Speaking, 8.5 in Listening, Reading 7.5, writing, 6.5 and overall of 7.5. To God be the Glory.
