ConnectivelyConnectively is a journalist request platform that connects subject-matter experts and PR professionals with journalists and publishers actively seeking credible sources for their stories. Journalists and publishers submit queries describing the insight, data, or commentary they need, and Connectively members browse the live feed, filter by topic or outlet, and pitch directly through the platform. When a pitch is selected, the expert is featured in the resulting article, and the publisher gets credible, ready-to-publish content from a real human source.Unlike older email-based media request services that deliver opportunities in batches a few times a day, Connectively runs in real time: new requests appear the moment they're approved, so members can search and respond immediately instead of waiting for the next digest. Members also use Connectively to commission expert content for their own blogs, pitch bylined articles to publishers, find relevant podcasts to guest on, and identify the journalists who cover their industry.Today, Connectively connects a subject-matter expert with a publisher roughly every six seconds, supports more than 100,000 users, and helps over 2,500 publishers fill content gaps with expert-led articles. The platform traces its roots to "HARO in a platform," the original searchable counterpart to the long-running HARO email service. After being discontinued by its previous owner in 2024, Connectively was acquired and revived in 2026, bringing back four and a half years of media opportunities, expert profiles, and workflows under the Connectively name.Connectively is built and operated by Featured, the AI co-pilot for PR, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. Featured also owns and operates HARO (Help a Reporter Out), giving PR professionals and subject-matter experts a choice in how they source media opportunities: through Connectively's searchable, real-time platform or HARO's free email digests. Together, these products help PR professionals,

I would not recommend to use this company. I did 3 pitches, all of them stuck in REVIEW, one already missed deadline a month ago. I tried to ask their customer service about it but nobody bothered to reply.

A shadow of its former self. As a source, I see tons of requests from PR firms and freelancers who generally don't use anything. It's a waste of time to reply. It's a shame because HARO was once great.

I relied on HARO for years to find sources for article I wrote about finance, commercial real estate and other topics. I could always count on good responses (even if they weren't necessarily what I was looking for). But the Connectively substitute isn't any good. It takes hours for my query to be approved (whereas on HARO, I could submit an "urgent" query and select how quickly I wanted it to run). Also, the responses I've gotten are poor. With a recent query, responses were non-existent. Also, I don't like that I can't select responses geography. I write for American audiences, and while I have nothing against international sources, U.S. regulations regarding finance and CRE differ from those in say, the UK or Europe. This was a horrible move for HARO and Cison -- and as to the name, "Connectively," well, the site doesn't do a very good job of connecting this writer with the sources needed for articles.

For some reason I have been unable to login to my paid account. I’ve emailed the company multiple times daily with no response. I keep getting led to the billing page and can’t access the queries. No help at all!

The transition from HARO to Connectively is abysmal. The results I am seeing in my feed are completely irrelevant to my areas of expertise and both email notifications and pitching have been paywalled for subject matter experts. The filtering is pointless as it doesn't seem to work correctly and its full of AI spam. Hope the monetisation was worth it. I, and I'm sure many other Subject Matter Experts, will now leapfrog the platform entirely.

In transitioning from HARO to Connectively, the platform deleted countless responses from sources, including detailed responses to interview questions. The sources' contact information is also gone. This was for articles that are in progress (and due NOW). Connectively's tech support can't bother to respond. The new platform is awful. Sources are either all AI or wildly unrelated to my query. Many of my previous sources can't even get onto the platform and have stopped trying. This transition has killed off what used to be a valuable resource.

Terrible service and nothing like HARO, there are barley and requests, probably 5% the amount I saw with HARO and I can not even log in properly, don't waste your time
