Total scam. Lost 500 USD
Was supposed to attend a conference on diabetes in Barcelona. They wouldnt tell me what hotel it was held at, or the schedule, asked me to be patient.
Checked again few weeks after and the same conference is now in Berlin. They stopped answering.
Learned my lesson, will come here first next time.

They looked like a scam
They looked like a scam! thank goodness I did my research. I also came across many other scam conference websites, but they look dodgy because most have no clear program, some have no venue decided, most asking for personal details to send me a brochure... dah!!
Be careful people of being scammed. I'm now looking at where I can report them!

Got scammed by Olivia Zoe at conference…
Got scammed by Olivia Zoe at conference series. I signed up for this conference as a student. It was a positive psychology conference advertising Stephen Stahl as a speaker, which was to be in Paris. Now I am told by Olivia (in very poor English) that I cannot get a refund. I asked for a refund because suddenly the conference is virtual.
I will hopefully always do my research before doing something like this again. What a vile company!!! Is there any way we can stop them???

Thank goodness I researched this before…
Thank goodness I researched this before agreeing to present at this conference! A guy named Sanju Reddy found me on Linked In and wanted me to pay to present at a mental health conference...I have been presenting at conferences for 21 years and never have I been asked to pay to present, especially at a virtual conference. I came to trustpilot to check them out first and found 93% negative reviews! I dodged a bullet.

Scammers who prey on people by getting them to pay to speak at their sham events
My name and face is being used to advertise an event that I am not speaking at. ConferenceSeries.com are complete scammers.
ConferenceSeries.com are advertising a Food Fraud- Food Safety event in Vancouver in October 2022. I was invited to speak and asked them to pay travel + accom. They refused, saying they can’t afford it because they “are belongs to non funding organization” but then offered me the keynote to try to convince me. I refused. I’m certainly not attending and for the reasons I assert below I believe the conference itself is a total sham/fraud.
I was contacted from a non-business gmail address. The name in the gmail address is different to the name of the "conference program manager" in the email signature, and different to the email address they used to contact other people in my network (although the name in the signature was the same).
The ‘program manager’ Alicia Mary does not exist on LinkedIn.
The same non-business gmail address was used to invite me to a virtual event last year, which I did speak at, after refusing to pay the speakers fee (yes, they – tried to - charge me a significant fee to present!). The (supposed) program manager for last year's event, Erin Taylor, also doesn't exist on LinkedIn.
The virtual event was execrable. The ‘welcome and introduction session’ started late and consisted of an empty screen for 20 minutes. The MC/host had very poor English language abilities; he did not say who he was; he did not mention the name of the conference; he did not even say the name of the conference/event company; he didn’t welcome attendees and he did not introduce the conference topic with even a single sentence. The quality of the presentations on either side of mine was poor and one of the presentations was completely off-topic. With no audience interaction I’m not sure that there were any live attendees (or live speakers?!) whatsoever. I wasn’t notified of my speaking slot time nor did I receive confirmation the event was even going to happen until 2 days prior, despite repeated requests. I never ‘met’ or talked to the supposed program manager or any human person at any time through the whole process and I am convinced that Alicia Mary and Erin Taylor are not real people.
This group are complete scammers who prey on people by getting them to pay to speak at their sham events.
I’m appalled they are using my name and face on their webpage and have taken action this morning to have it removed.
Edit: If you want to help prevent more people from getting scammed there are three things you can do. (1) Make sure to report any fraudulent transactions to your bank (the bank will seek a refund from conferenceseries via their credit card processor, Stripe. Too many disputed transactions will prompt Stripe to suspend services for conferenceseries); (2) write to stripe.com ("info @") and tell them that conferenceseries.com is using the Stripe payment gateway to process credit cards for fraud and ask them to cancel the company's stripe account.
(3) find all their company profiles on LinkedIn (I found 6 today) and for each one, file a scam report with LinkedIn. To do this, open their company Linkedin profile page. Click 'More', choose 'Report abuse' then choose "Suspicious fake or scam" and report them for defrauding people.

Will you attend an international food conference?
Definitely will attend for many purposes.
1. To listen to the latest market insights and trends. Nutrition, convenience, personalization, premiumization, and Z generation are the most discussed keywords.
2. To notice what competitors are doing. Plant-based products are competing emerging and big companies are making moves to speed up their innovation process such as Nestle while SMEs are constantly disrupting the market.
3. To find potential solutions or suppliers for help. Selected suppliers will offer their insights into the market and their solutions to tricky stuff …
You could find a collection of those and get acquainted with the decision-makers of global top food companies such as Nestle, PepsiCo., Mars, Mondelez, Yili Group and etc. in a high-end and demand-targeted conference. Food Pathogens and Food Safety Conference held in Vancouver, Canada could be a good option. Do not miss the annual ICFPFS 2022. It will be held in Vancouver from 13th-14th of June 2022.
9th International Conference on Food Pathogens and Food Safety themed as “Microbiological and Chemical Aspects of Food Safety”. The two-day ICFPFS 2022 consists of Plenary Session A ,Plenary Session B (CEO Grand Meeting) and two awards ceremonies for “Marking Awards” and “Young researcher Forum” on Day One, and Day Two including Product Innovation A (Dairy Products and Beverage), Product Innovation B (Bottled Water, Technology and Snacks), Marketing Innovation, InnoPack, and Food & Money. At the same time, there was an ICFPFS exhibition area for the Food Show, which showcase a great number of interactive activities such as MA F&B packaging gallery, products tasting, supplier solutions and etc.

An organized crime to target researchers and professors for money!!!
Hello All,
Firstly I would like to let you know how this conference series works.
I was on the way of finishing my PhD in Brazil and suddenly a person contacted me about a conference organized in São Paulo, Brazil. The guy told me that he is from Hyderabad, India and cannot get a chance to organise the event in Brazil and they wanted me to manage the Congress/Conference on there behalf. I was told that they have a problem and they have selected me to be represent them in São Paulo, Brazil. They were ready to offer me travelling expenses, accommodation as well as some money for my expenses. When I came to know that they are from my country, and need help I felt somewhat concerned about their reputation, but they provided me the money well in advance!
When I reached São Paulo, the reality was that, their were 2 congresses/conferences and they wanted me to manage them both? When I noticed that, I asked the person on the whatsapp that there are 2 events and their ar more than 50 people's including professors, researches, as well as students! All of them were complaining me about the issues they are facing and most of them were just there to get a certificate or some were on vacation! I thought it was all organized but later I had to take all the responsibility of the materials and the person's present there for 2-3 days. The professors did not want to affect the work presented by the young students as well as myself as I too was a researcher then. So they managed all the scientific activities well and helped all the students and guided them well. But, when all the event finished the guy on the WhatsApp suddenly started to lure me with money and was trying to ask me how much money I want? That he understood my intentions behind organising this events, and so on. Since then, I informed all the professors as well as students that it seems that all these events are not authentic and there are financial fraud involved!
They too agreed and said to me that don't worry just finish these events and don't let it affect my career.
If these professors were not there, I was about to stop all the event and ask everyone for the refund! But the professors were of the view that "we must not let this affect the development of new generation researchers and their innovations".
I hope that global scientific event organizers from reputed societies as well as funding agencies take a note to ban this fraudulent www. conferenceseries. com
If you can't do it now, it's never! Business of making money though such events is a great loss and it will affect not just the researchers but also downgrade the interest in science !!
However, when I finished the events they said that I will receive the money in few hours but I received it next day. One of the professors helped me to buy a ticket and helped me to get back home! The worst part was they don't about care anything accept money, for spot registration they charge a huge amount which I have never seen in any events!
Also, they target Indian students or working communities living abroad for organising their events! It's easier for some to do it for money but the scientific merits are compromised, if the Professors or other staffs are involved with them it can get even worst! I am sharing my experience with my official email. If you want to take action against these people's, I will be first to join you!
