My experience with moving in at Common Summit Seattle has been great. It was different than what other apartment renting experiences had been AND THAT WAS OKAY! With new technologies come new experiences and advantages. Billing is easy and any issues, which honestly are minor, few and far between, are quickly resolved because the communication is really good. The events provided for residents are varying and the one I attended was really quite enjoyable.

Common took over management of my building in Chicago from another company and the transition was very smooth and easy. I felt they were more attentive to the needs of residents and took quick action whenever there were any issues. Communication was very regular and responsive. It's a wonderful thing to have all of your utilities bundled together with your rent - cuts down on remembering what to pay and when. Also the amenities are great - gym, common area (with shuffleboard, bar area and TV for hosting gatherings), dishwasher and washer/dryer in unit. Even at the small size, it's got everything I need within the space and it's helped me to Marie Kondo my way into more minimal living. I'd recommend Common properties to others in the future.

I don't care how much work you put into a place if your neighbors are not quality people it's not worth renting. That being said, you could probably get better pricing at the apodments up on 13th Ave East. I have lived there twice but for only short periods of time. The reason was the people that lived there. A new eleventh was very different I actually knew two of my neighbors and would go out for pizza with one and play with the dog of my other neighbor. It was so very pleasant. The loft bed area is huge if you have a twin bed. I had more than enough room for one person. The floor plan on the bottom level is a bit odd and the wood floors are noisy. But so is every wood floor. Just part of living with no carpeting. I loved that my building and unit was in the back of the apartment complex and that it got morning sunlight. Also having a loft gave me two windows which was handy to air out my apartment and to get fresh air in. I love the regular size sink and having a built in microwave was great. Everything fit perfectly for me. I used the kitchen only once since most of my cooking is done in an instant pot and a rice cooker. The proximaty to QFC and the PNW Gym was fantastic and the choices of either walking to take the light rail or jump on two different bus routes was great. The neighborhood has a wonderful vibe and parking is much easier to get then east of 12th ave. The pricing for the unit was good. The move in was a breeze and I was able to complete everything online. I love being able to pay my rent online and using my rewards credit card to get cash back. Lots of eateries right down the street and a park is right around the corner. Thrift shop and drug store is also down the block. I would say that out of all the neighborhoods I have live in from 2nd and Stewart to First Hill to the Group Health area, this has been my favorite so far. I'm willing to pay a premium for a better neighborhood and this was the best so far. Don't be detered by the new hip slick and cool places on Broadway, (it's noisy). Rent at a New Eleventh. It's really worth it. Management is really quality to and respond to maintenance request within 48 hours.

I have lived at Common Melrose for about a year now and I have had a great experience. The home is very nice and is always kept clean and stocked with provided kitchen/bathroom/laundry supplies (an awesome amenity). Support staff has always been very accommodating and quick to respond, whether it’s been for maintenance, restocking supplies or other general issues. What was intended to be a short lease for me ended up being much longer. I highly recommend Common.

I'm excited to share my experiences at Common with you as I'm happy living in such a beautiful place, I get to call Home ;) I give Common the highest possible marks, simply because they deserve it. One of the most important aspects of living at Common is that you're surrounded with a team of employees that are dedicated in assisting you in receiving the best possible customer / resident experience. Their excellence in communication is simply exceptional. **Highly Recommend**

I currently live in Common Simonds in Chicago and it's been great! The building used to be owned by another management company but the transition has been seamless and when I found out we were switching to Common I was pumped! The Simonds building consists of all individual apartments which is awesome rather than a lot of other Common buildings where you rent out a room and share a common space. The only drawback of this is that the feeling is a tad less communal than what I'd imagine other Common buildings to be. That said you still get access to all of the local events, Common Member portal and the same perks as anywhere else. One other think to mention about Simonds specifically is that the apartments are TINY. BUT you get literally everything you need. Dishwasher, full Washer/Dryer in unit, all new appliances and fixtures. I think my entire place including bathroom and closet is 250sq ft? The best way I can describe it is like living in a tiny home. If you are the type to want to live minimally then this is a GREAT place to test those waters out. I've found myself paring down a lot of my belongings and am way happier as a result. :) The response time regarding any issues or questions is super quick (special shout out to Jenna North who is THE best) and they never leave you hanging. The level of service surrounding tenants is unlike any management company I've ever experienced. Basically, nothing about Common is normal and I mean that in the BEST way possible. The housing market needed a change. (Insert thumbs up here)

I have nothing but good things to say about Common Living. The apartment complexes are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, while the property management team is easy-to-work with, organized, caring, and prompt. After living in a smaller apartment for two years in a complex owned by Common, I reached out to Jenna, the Customer Success Manager, to let her know I needed more space and was looking for other apartments. She quickly scheduled a meeting to discuss what type of apartment I was looking for, and she literally found the PERFECT fit. This was no easy feat, as I was very specific in what I was looking for - a complex close to Lake Union, with a patio and view of the water, a lofted studio space with full amenities, in Eastlake (a neighborhood I love), at a reasonable price. Miraculously, she found EXACTLY that, but even better- a BRAND NEW complex at a price I could afford! I was thrilled, and couldn’t wait to move in. She even scheduled multiple tours for me to view the complex, to provide full confidence in my decision to transfer buildings. And on top of that, she timed the move-in so I can easily transfer from my current lease to the next without paying double rent. With their awesome customer service team and great apartments, I plan to stay with Common Living until I buy property. Although I may just stay permanently!
