I have been working with Alex at Commit Action for over 8 years, since the early days of my company when I was the lone employee. Alex has been a key source of support as I evolved and grew my company (and myself) beyond my wildest dreams. Founders deal with a lot of uncertainty, which can be tremendous fuel for opportunity or paralysis depending on your mindset. Commit Action has been an anchor of consistency, stability, and guidance that has allowed me to navigate the uncertainty and act with confidence. I would recommend Commit Action to any founder. You will have to wear many hats and pick up many skills as a founder, but the most important investment you can make is in yourself. Commit Action has been a practical, concrete way for me to do that.

Commit Action has been a critical component in helping me prioritize tasks that provide the highest leverage in the growth of my new business. It can be easy to have an endless list of to do's that are meaningless, but having Commit Action is a bullet proof method to helping eliminate those time killing tasks that never belonged on the to do list in the first place. If you are looking for a service to help you develop vision, ideas, and purpose, then this is not for you. However, if you already already know what you want out of life, have the vision and tools to make it happen, but you just need someone to call you out when you start getting distracted, then Commit Action can be a real life and time saver!

My first year with Commit Action has been such a great investment! The Head Start annual planning, the quarterly planning webinars, and my weekly coaching calls with Coach Alicia have been excellent catalysts in clarifying my “big picture” and keep me moving forward on my goals. My coach has great insight and I truly appreciate her wisdom!

Alicia keeps me focused on what needs to be done, I'm famous for bouncing around a lot! She is able to follow a process and keep the trains running on time.

I have been working with Channing for a few months now and I very happy with everything. While I am wearing all the hats at the moment, Channing slows down the overwhelming stress and maps out my immediate next steps so I am not drowning in my own thoughts. We are eating this elephant one bite at a time instead of trying to swallow it whole. Channing calls out my excuses and inner fears, deals with them and moves everything forward. Always tell me the truth even when it is hard to hear, but the truth is always necessary to deal with the real problems and get things done. I am more than happy with her! Thank you Channing!

My Commit Action accountability coach helped me accomplish big picture goals by taking small steps and checking off tasks. Specifically I took 1 day a month off (or more) and added a newsletter and one page financial plan. As my services improved my biggest win was 92% acceptance of a fee increase. As a financial planner this kind of coaching forced me to be accountable for my productivity each week. I knew I was going to to report back to Taylor and saw the progress on my goals.

It worked! Commit action helped me to understand why I don't commit to certain routines and tasks while sticking to others. As a result I was able to increase my net worth by 3x from $600K to over $2M. Now, Im purchasing a manufacturing company that does $20M in revenue. Also, I am in the final prototyping phase of a device I've always wanted to invent! All because of persistence and focus over an extended period of time. The lesson that really stuck with me was learning about the "Valley of Despair". As an entrepreneur this lesson taught me the psychology behind why I would abandon existing projects to pursue new ones. Essentially teaching me to not chase new and shinny things that simply raise dopamine temporarily. Now that I am aware of this I can keep myself committed to only a hand full of long term goals. Knowing that if i stick to these goals that it will get easier and soon success will be almost automatic. So thanks for everything! If I need a refresher I surely will be back. Special thanks to James Dodge! He had a way of listening deeply. I felt as if he truly was interested in my journey. I rarely, if ever, had to say remind him about what I just said or said even a month ago. He wasn't just asking me questions on a list. It was as if I was his only client (which I know was not the case). He served as an objective observer that helped me see things how they were, not how I felt they were. He knew exactly what advice to give to keep me focused and on course. Thanks James! Thanks Commit Action!

My experience with Commit Action so far has been great! I've been using them since the start of 2023 to help me reach my goals and to hold me accountable. I look forward to seeing what I accomplish the rest of this year.
