I am responding to the manager who replied to my review I put on here on my experience with the Comfort Inn in Penticton. He said they were under construction and were not taking guests, this is absolutely not the truth. There were guests in the lobby yet he took our money from Expedia and tried to blame them. I had 3 days to be away and he took 2 of them as the only hotel counter take us for 1 night. After being on the phone with Expedia for over an hour and a half this wonderful woman managed to get us a hotel which happened to be right next door and I saw guests coming and going. I wasn’t going to do anything and I have not been well, reading the response to your review brings me back to my conversation with you and now I feel I have to not allow this to happen to other people

A one-hotel mission to destroy the planet
Comfort Inn seems to be on a one-hotel mission to create as much waste as possible, as quickly as it can. From the plastic knives and forks to eat breakfast from a paper plate, to the individually-wrapped paper cups, every stay is a baffling, mind-bogglingly comprehensive masterclass in waste. The irony (and insanity) of driving through wildfires and then staying at a comfort inn - where you can easily use more fossil fuels to eat breakfast than the drive itself required - is something that will echo through the ages.

Booked a double room for 3 nights and…
Booked a double room for 3 nights and notified management that we would be late due to flight delay. When we arrived our room was occupied. She took us to 2 other options before they found rooms across from each other. Went to our conference the next day and returned to dirty, unattended rooms with our purchase for the day - about $1000. Next day went to the conference to return for find our rooms clean and emptied of all of our belongings including the purchases. Went to desk and clerk said she would notify the manager who took about 2 hours to come down and she lived on site. She managed to find out luggage but not the purchases. Said maintenance man cleaned the room and gave our belonging to housekeeping who was not allowed to leave her house after 8 pm. She came the next morning with SOME of the purchases and told us the manager said she could have them. Also many items including clothing and a Coach purse were missing from our luggage. Made a police report. It appears this stealing of personal items is standard practice for this hotel.

DO NOT Bring your service dog to this hotel Days INN WCH ohio
this rundown foreign owned DAYS in hotel is a mess. The local yokal check in person is rude and has no customer service skills. In a driving rain storm I was trying to unload my critical items for the night under the awning, and He/she called my room asking if it was my truck. There is no elevator in the 3 story hotel not mentioned anywhere on your sites. I'm a disabled veteran and have PTSD service dogs they wanted to retroactively charge me for them after staying for 2 months! More over on their vests it says PTSD service dog and the asked me what service the provided for me. Of course the are with me to lower anxiety and stop me from going off on stupid people who never served there county and ask about my disability and need for said dogs. He/she then had the audacity to say that doesn't qualify for a service dog! "well if you charged me I will place a commercial lien on the property as a secured party" and He/she said you need to leave. so I pack up and leave my reservation was till Sunday and they fraudulently charged my credit card for the whole week.
the hotel itself is in disrepair. I killed 2 roaches in my room the first night had to put out traps. carpeting ripped, intermittent internet,TV will not allow you to stream on them. Staff, owners, and guests' children running up and down the hallways and stair well till 10-1100PM.
the only good point of the staff was a husband-and-wife cleaning team and their sweet daughter. I felt sorry for them being indentured servants to the Patel clan owners. Stay anywhere else in Washington court house OH. My law suit under the ADA is forth comming

We arrived on May 5 for 3 nights, unacceptable
We arrived on May 5, 2026, and upon arrival, we initially believed the property was closed. The check-in area was covered in plastic with only a small opening available for communication. There was extensive construction throughout the property, with noticeable dust and debris in common areas. Unfortunately, none of this appeared to be disclosed during the booking process.
We paid full price expecting a quality hotel experience; however, the conditions reflected more of a budget-level stay. In my opinion, the level of cleanliness and presentation was unacceptable, especially for guests with asthma or other medical concerns. I personally experienced increased allergy and asthma symptoms during our stay and relied on my allergy medication far more than usual.
At check-in, we were informed that the dining area and construction debris would be addressed “by tomorrow morning.” However, by Thursday, the situation had not improved. Because of the condition of the breakfast area, we had to go elsewhere for breakfast, coffee, and juice each morning, leaving us to arrange these accommodations on our own.
Unfortunately, securing another hotel such as SpringHill Suites or Holiday Inn on short notice would have been significantly more expensive, so we remained at the property primarily because the room itself was reasonably clean. Still, this was not the quality of stay we expected or would normally choose.
I also felt embarrassed when my Pastor kindly offered to pay for us to relocate to another hotel. I truly believe that if the extent of the construction and conditions had been properly disclosed online, many guests — including us — may have chosen differently. In my personal opinion, the lack of transparency felt deceptive.
I would also like to note that the staff members were very kind and professional throughout our stay. We especially appreciated Caleb and the other front desk employees, who were courteous and pleasant during every interaction. It was evident, however, that even the staff seemed uncomfortable and embarrassed by the property’s condition.
Regrettably, this will be our last stay at any Choice property.
Thank you again to Caleb and the front desk staff for their kindness and professionalism despite the circumstances.

we stayed in comfort inn plano
we stayed in comfort inn plano, TX. I would rate this as the worst hotel I have ever stayed. I have traveled extensively for work and pleasure and never gotten gone back to the hotel and had my bags packed and told I did not have a room. We had reservation until the next day and the manager will not refund money. The paint was chipped, wall paper coming off, could not get towels. I had to bring towels from home. I requested daily room service, but that did not happen. I did not get all my clothes back, and I found my tootbrush with dirty clothes and electronics with wet towels. I would rate this hotel as -10 on a scale of 1-10.

Although No one is the owner of this…
Although No one is the owner of this comfort inn from choice hotel in this Trust pilot account, I just made this to make everyone aware.
I made booking online through booking.com and stayed in the comfort inn hotel Marina (14-19 April 2025) book ref 4821220210, while check out, I asked about the payment and Paid in the facility and they informed me that the booking fee will disappear after sometimes. Surprisingly, the creditcard statement Charged me twice, before check in and after checked out. Several email and phone call reveal no one responsible Neither Booking, Comfort inn Nor Choice, however creditcard company confirm that the fund is requested and charged from Comfort inn for Both occasion. And I requested investigation through creditcard company for unresolved situations.

Comfort Inn in Sherman, TX
This facility in Sherman, TX, is disgusting! The phone cord for the room phone was cut so no phone service! 3 out of 4 cardkeys would not work and then they charged me $30.36 more on my credit card bill than was on my receipt the day I checked out. BTW....my bank credit card is also dragging their feet in rectifying the situation. These people are HORRIBLE!!!
