Seen there advert so many times, they advert there product as PPD FREE ! 101 % Very misleading, before I ordered i messages several times and asked if it was PPD FREE and they all said the same thing our product does not contain PPD, I advised them that I am 100 % allergic to PPD and have had a very bad reaction that left me with an infection, even though I told them they still went on with the order and sent me the product, the product arrived and on the ingredients none of them mention PPD, but still I did a allergy test just incase, and after that within 4 hours my skin raised and blistered badly, even now while I'm writing this review, very painful reaction seeping raised rash !! I complained to them and straight away they refunded me but itsnjot about the refund, this could be very bad fatal for some, PPD REACTION is no joke it can leave people with scars for life or even can kill them or send them to hospital for emergency treatment, they need to be honest with things like this and not lie, I hope this helps people so they no, any 1 who is allergic to hair dye PPD IS A NO NO do not buy this product please. I cannot use cosmetics with PPD (P-Polyethylenediamine) because my skin reacts with depigmentations. Colorsmith said to me that the color is free of PPD, but later on the ingredrients list I saw that it is inside. I wrote a question and received a very strange mail that answered everthing but not my question. I replied, that it is important for me to know if there is PPD in this product or not and then I got the info that ALL Colorsmith products use PPD. Sorry, but this is not fair and extremly dangerous behaviour. I dont trust in this company any more. So glad that I did not use it.

The first time I received my color for 'Medium Brown', my hair turned black. The colorist told me to send photos prior to my next shipment and she would adjust the color. Fast forward to this week, I emailed photos six days ago to hello[at]colorsmithco.ca. No response. I sent a follow up email yesterday. Still no response. Terrible customer service.

My goatee is still gray. i used a dark brown and it actually has a blue tint to it. not even the slightest brown.

It gave me pretty bad allergy

Product takes forever to get to me, and lasts less than two days in my hair and beard. Might as well get over the counter, or have a professional do it.

Product doesn't work. and it CAN NOT be used. I have a short hair and like 95% was not used What a waste for the price and for the end result. Should just used Clairol for $3.99 at Walmart. Better result. Returned the other order because it was on auto order, but it's been 3 months and I haven't even got my refund yet. I spoke to the customer service. They were nice, but they just said, return to sender and i never have any tracking number. Very disappointed.
