They were both incredibly helpful with navigating the college admissions process. It was very useful to have someone to contact with the many uncertainties in this process, and they have out a lot of different resources that helped, including help with writing the college essays.

College Transitions made this process much easier for my daughter. Our counselors, Mr. Andrew and Ms. Emily, were very proactive and always there to offer advice and recommendations. We found the program to be very beneficial, especially when it came to reviewing our applications and essays. The gave us constructive feedback on all entries into the applications and answered each of our questions. We are so thankful for the time they dedicated to helping our daughter, allowing her to be accepted by early decision to NYU. We highly recommend College Transitions.

I owe College Transitions a tremendous amount of gratitude! I began working with Dave Bergman and Michael Trivette at the beginning of 11th grade and they helped me plan for everything that would be going into my applications. They were able to review my profile early on and give me advice on where to cut back and what things to focus on. While many of my friends were trying to do so many activities, Dave and Michael told me to focus on my most important extracurriculars. I was able to use that time to volunteer at the hospital, compete in Science Olympiad, and serve as president of our school's HOSA chapter. By the time the applications were due, I was able to point to a few things that we felt best communicated who I was, and what I wanted to do in college. I received acceptances from 9 different colleges and I am convinced that Dave and Michael prevented me from attempting to do too much, to the point where my applications would have suffered. Instead, I felt calm and reassured throughout the entire process. I should also thank my writing coach, Molly, as she was a huge help for all of my essays. I'm eternally grateful to College Transitions for helping me achieve my dream of attending WashU in St. Louis!

College Transitions gave me guidance and resources that I would never have otherwise known about. Coming from a high school where our counselors had hundreds of students assigned to them, I wasn’t able to receive personalized attention. However, my College Transitions counselor, Mr. Trivette, was extremely responsive, thorough, and helpful at all times. He also assigned a gifted editor to review my essays. She allowed me to express my thoughts and creativity while helping me stay focused on the prompts and word limits. These days, the college application process is overwhelming. However, having College Transitions there to guide me made all the difference; it was a key ingredient to the numerous acceptances that I received, many of which were from reach schools.

It was always a pleasure to work and speak with Michael. He provided an extensive and diverse list of colleges that best fit me based on my long-term goals. He was prompt in providing excellent and realistic feedback for all my queries during the lengthy application process. Christina my essay coach, was phenomenal in advising me during the college essay writing application process. She was instrumental in helping me organize and articulate my thoughts. Big kudos to the entire College Transition team for enabling me to get accepted into multiple colleges and then helping me select the best possible college.

As a student, I really appreciated Micheal Trivette's guidance through the college application process. I knew what basic qualities I wanted in a college, but didn't know specifically what colleges I wanted to apply to. Micheal helped create a large list for me to choose from. I am so incredibly grateful for the guidance and support during the college process that College Transitions gave. From the first meeting with Michael, I knew I was in good hands even though the college application process was terrifying to me and arguably one of the most stressful periods of life I’ve been through. Throughout my application process, the regular check-ins by Michael kept me on track.
