Cognito FormsReviews of cognitoforms.com

Like, easy to use Dislike, very slow on page entries, expecially want to delete specific period of entries, wait for loading for hours then timeout.

The presentation of the forms both as a link and displayed directly on our website look and respond great. So far the only downfall I have seen is in the workflow section. It could be a little more clear and easier to follow. But with effort it does work as intended.

Looks like a nicely polished product. However, is missing some key functionality that is needed for us to replace our Adobe AEM forms, primarily the ability to source data from external APIs. Having to populate another form to reference data is not a viable solution.

This is a great product. It will be helpful if you can see for every section/field, where it is link to. This is especially important since any change done to a field creates a discrepancy in the conditioning of the other fields that are condition by the response on the first field.

Cognito is great and I'm still learning about it. what I suggest may already be available but it is not obvious to me. Would be great if the calculation function could be added to complicated custom rating scales. for example, we have designed rating scales that provide information on what certain ratings should relate to. each rating scale is it's own question. the calculation function cannot add the scores from the rating scales. Some of the surveys we prepare need to have the questions numbered. it would be great if this could occur automatically and then update the numbering if a question was deleted or hidden.

I'm a web developer and some of my clients contact form goes to their spam folder. I was told it has to do with the client's shared hosting server. So I chose to use Cognito to resolve this issue. It prevents the forms from going to spam about 95% of the time. I've been on their $10/month plan just to remove their "Powered by Cognito" on the forms on the clients websites. Now they have increased the price up to $15/month (50%). Here in Canada, that's going from paying $13.50/month to $20/month. I don't like when companies use low price to take you in then try to double or triple it in the coming years. I have now found an alternative solution and planning on cancelling their service.

It’s fantastic but… I was hoping the spreadsheet would collate the individual events people had entered, rather than the category/grouping above the individual events..

I have found the features of JotForm much more user friendly and easier to implement. In my experience, and even after contacting Cognito, it appears there is no undo feature if anything is mistakenly deleted before saving, nor is there a way to add a section or page break between sections already created. I was forced to recreate the entire form to add a section/page break.
