In our department, Codequiry gives us the transparency we need to ensure student work is genuinely their own. When code or text is lifted from common online sources or shared among peers, the similarity metrics flag those instances immediately so we can conduct an academic honesty review. It’s worked exceptionally well for us at Stanford, and I’d certainly recommend other programs look into implementing it.
