About Coco Coders

Award-winning live online coding classes for children aged 6 to 14, taught by expert teachers in small groups. At Coco Coders, we do more than teach kids to code. Since 2016, we've helped more than 25,000 children in the UK, the US and around the world build the creativity, problem-solving and collaboration skills they need for a high-tech future.Learning that feels like playChildren build their own games and animations in creative themes, from magic, space and detectives to art, music, fashion and sport. Our spiral curriculum keeps coming back to core concepts such as loops, variables, conditions and functions in new ways, so skills stick and confidence grows.A clear path from block-based to text-based codingYounger children usually start with block-based coding in Scratch, and older children begin with text-based languages. From there, students progress to Python, then JavaScript, HTML and CSS. We group children with peers of a similar age and experience. Parents get regular feedback on what their child is working on and how they're getting on.A safe, welcoming space for every childOur teachers are vetted and Coco-trained. They include school teachers, software developers and computer science graduates. Every lesson is a safe space where all children are welcomed, supported and encouraged to share their ideas. Small classes mean every child gets personal attention, and our teachers are trained to support neurodiverse learners. Private one-to-one lessons are also available.AI literacy for the next generationOur AI Adventurers course teaches children aged 10 to 12 how AI works, what it's good and bad at, and how to use it safely and responsibly.Flexible by designThere's no contract or minimum term, and if your child misses a lesson, a recording is there for them to catch up.Start now at 50% off and see why kids love learning with Coco.

Wonderful, fun and interactive camp in Ealing
The camp was excellent and our son had a fantastic time and learnt so much. The teaching was excellent and we got great feedback on what was being taught. The little gifts each child received were a great touch and we loved it so much we came back for some of the next week too! We will happily come back next year and highly recommend. As a final point the admin staff were super helpful and really friendly too. A great camp and a great company too!

Excellent camp with structured and fun activities
My son attended an on location coding camp for four days over summer and he loved it. Staff were brilliant and my son came home buzzing every day about all the things he had learned and done. He is relatively shy and knew no one else at the camp but the structured coding sessions and play activities allowed him to settle easily. Due to a COVID issue, the location had to be changed at very short notice but Cypher handled this in an outstanding way enabling us to still attend the camp. It would be good to see some of these camps outside of London in the future!

Dear Helen, We appreciate the time you took to write such a detailed review and we're delighted that you had a 5 star experience! Our top priority is making sure each student feels engaged, excited and inspired when coding their creative projects. Hearing that your son came home buzzing after camps makes our day. We also appreciate that your family travelled specifically to London to be able to attend our camps. We are so glad our travel solution panned out well and your son was able to attend camp! His teachers have mentioned that he was was absolute pleasure to teach and that he made great leaps in his learning. Thank you so much for your kind words, I have shared these with the team at Cypher HQ. All the best, Alyssa & The Cypher Team
