It's Okay
Over the few months that I have been part of the community, I have found it a bit lacking in assistance. It's a good site but I have seen more back-and-forth activity elsewhere. CloudSkills.io does have a good amount of information to take in and learn from but the content is mostly video-focused and that doesn't work for me very well. I was able to successfully pass the AZ-900 after taking a prep course from them and that is good. But I also walked through the MS learn so... /shrugs. I was enjoying the community enough to join the insider program when it was offered. However, I think my expectations may have been off. It cost me $1000 to join and I was expecting more hand-holding / guidance and one-on-one assistance. What I got was an open meeting once a week of sharing time, access to a new channel in Slack, and people sharing what worked for them. While this is good, for my income, so far it has not been worth the money. I am still part of the group and show up each Friday as I do see the potential. I have learned about a number of new books to read that have been helpful. And who knows, maybe it's my shyness that is the cause, and with time that should wear off? I think this group is for people who want just a little help and access to a lot of information. But then I can get that all over the internet for free... If I hadn't paid for the insider group my overall rating would be higher.
