Zero ROI on this considerable investment
I joined the Client Ascension coaching program for our agency in late March 2024 after a detailed evaluation. The multitude of five-star reviews inspired confidence, and we committed $10,000, expecting the promised results for such a premium price. Over four months, we meticulously implemented every recommendation provided. We created 2 offers, 2 landing pages, 2 VSLs – each approved by the coaches. We created email scripts, different iterations over time, and reached over 25K contacts. We also created cold calling scripts, hired two appointment setters, and have reached 2K+ small businesses with no results. We did all this after viewing and participating in at least a hundred hours of live and recorded trainings. Despite diligently applying every suggestion and continuing with their methods for an additional three months, we saw zero results—no new clients and zero ROI on this considerable investment of both time and money. The Client Ascension coaching team are undeniably professional and competent, and they delivered on the technical aspects laid out in their sales pitch. But professional delivery is only one side of the equation; in the end, the program's guidance didn’t translate into any measurable outcomes, let alone the strong business growth that was heavily implied and promised. I approached Client Ascension with high expectations, confident that our thorough follow-through would yield the results promised. Seven months later, we are left with nothing to show for our substantial investment and effort, which includes amounts far beyond what we paid them. Before posting this review, I reached out to Mr. Daniel Fazio, one of the principals of Client Ascension, in hopes of finding an amicable solution to our disappointing experience. I requested a partial refund—not based on their stringent guarantee terms, but rather on the absence of any promised outcomes despite following their strategies precisely. I was shocked by Mr. Fazio’s response, which was laden with vitriol, unprofessional attacks, and legal threats. He threatened retaliation if I posted this honest review, including plans to publish negative reviews about my agency on Trustpilot, despite our agency having never done any work for Client Ascension. He falsely accused us of using fake reviews on our Trustpilot page and labeled my refund request as an “extortion racket” solely because I offered to settle this matter privately if a refund was issued. This ethical and professional approach to resolving a dispute was mischaracterized as extortion, which I find both shocking and absurd. Mr. Fazio further claimed that we “did not actually implement ANY of our strategies,” a statement grounded in misinformation. Our detailed implementation efforts were documented in Slack, which he closed access to upon our termination three months ago, effectively blocking access to the records of our extensive work, updates, and approvals. This forced lack of documentation was then twisted as an admission of non-performance—a deeply disturbing and false accusation. Despite Mr. Fazio’s unfounded legal threats and personal attacks, I am sharing this review to offer future clients a more balanced perspective. This review is not about maligning Client Ascension; it is an honest recounting of our experience.
Response from Client AscensionOct 30, 2024
You created zero offers, zero VSL's, and sent zero emails following our practices - certified by the fact that you could not provide any of it when I asked you for it. Even right now as I write this response, there is zero video on your site. The fact here is that you did not "meticulously" do anything - you have followed zero instruction of ours at all. You sent a message that read "We lost our two revenue contracts last month through no fault of our own and are now in a cash flow crunch." - and then shortly after, sent me a message threatening that if we did not send you $5,000, you would post a review with a false defamatory claim stating that our TrustPilot reviews are fake (which they're not). You failed to comply with sending any evidence over that you actually made any VSL's or landing pages or cold emails. The fact of the matter is simply that you ran into a cash flow issue from losing two clients - and then decided that your payment to Client Ascension was your piggy bank that you could pull from. To ensure you got the money - you threatened that if I did not refund you, you would post online that our reviews are fake. A claim you have now conveniently left out of this review. This matter is very simple: you are extorted Client Ascension with a threat to post false information.
