3 months in and I'm not very impressed. We got our keys locked in our car on a Sunday and even though we have 24/7 service for help, they were not available to help us on a weekend. They also had a hard time looking up our account even though we are active customers with them. Because of this, we had to pay for a locksmith to come and help out us instead. We get what we pay for I guess.

I tried so hard to add my new car in my policy. I called every single day for 2 weeks. I let messages, I sent email and I never got any answer and that’s why I choose another company. Your company is a floppy.

A pebble on the freeway cracked my windshield. I called Clearcover to find out where I should get it replaced. They told me their policy only covered windshield repairs. Replacement was all on me. Switching to Geico with a lower rate and windshield replacement is covered.

In general, with Comprehensive coverage, there is no out-of-pocket cost if the glass damage can be repaired. However, if the glass needs to be replaced, coverage will be applied after a customer pays their Comprehensive Deductible. If the cost to replace the glass is greater than the deductible amount, then a customer will need to pay out-of-pocket. Customers can choose from various deductibles amounts, and in some states, in some states, you can select a specific $0 glass deductible. I purchased insurance for a vehicle sitting in a garage in Florida, a state that isn't even covered by Clearcover. I never received a refund for the money I spent on this bunk auto policy.
