When using a straight razor all one needs is an artisan blade, an American-made leather strop (for maintaining the blade) a brush and soap, and the skills to use them. After the initial setup, the only waste created during the daily shave is soap bubbles down the drain. When using a safety razor the only waste is the little rectangular blade which can easily be recycled. Way Beyond great customer service.
I have made many purchases from several websites since I started straight razor shaving about a year ago. I keep coming back to Classic Shave for their quality and overall superior products. I purchased a Hart razor back in January. Definitly the best razor I own. While stropping my razor last month it slipped out of my had and landed on my garage floor chipping the nose of the razor. I sent it back to Classic who then sent it to Hart where they completely reshaped and rehoned my razor and for the price of a regular sharpening. Way above the call of duty. Not what I expected
I recently ordered the natural horn mustache comb that is made in France. The picture of the product shows a completely different comb with a brand name and a clearly marked "made in France" on the comb. What I received was a blank comb that could have been made anywhere. I contacted the customer service and told them I was unhappy with the false advertisement. Normally when a company drops the ball on their end they try to make it right but sadly ClassicShaving.com just assured me it was made in France and that I could return it for a refund. So not wanting to waste more time and money in the return process I'm keeping it. Overall, compared to other shaving sites ClassicShaving didn't impress me across the board. I won't be returning to shop there.

Excellent Service
I ordered a 7/8 Hart straight razor, and am very impressed with Classic Shaving. I don't think I'd ever bought anything from them before this razor, but their website is easy to get around, easy on the eyes, and ordering is a snap. The razor showed up today well packaged, and as ordered. You can't ask for anything more.
