Using the same razor and same shaving cream I am amazed at what a wonderful shave I get with my new brush. I did not buy it for a better shave, I just needed a new brush. What a pleasant surprise!

The Feather Double Edge is my first double edge razor. It cuts much closer and more smooth than disposable razors. I was hesitant at first, because I remember my Father using this type of razor years ago, but I am convinced now. It performs better, and reduces your costs more than half in the long run. You cannot ask for more.

I tried a different product, but came back to to clasic shaving soap. Better lather and smother shave.

A few weeks ago I bought my first razor. It's a Hart Steel 5/8 round from Classic Shaving and it's a great razor. Used it for a couple weeks and as I was honing it for the first time, I noticed that part of the shoulder was missing. These Harts are hand made without the use of any equipment that makes them all exactly the same, so some variation is to be expected but I thought it was a little unsightly. I was not expecting to be able to get an exchange as a razor is a sanitary item, but Classic Shaving said no problem. RMA'ing the current one and they are sending me a new one at no charge. Remember to inspect your razor before first use just in case there are any aspects of it that you don't like. Thanks CS!
