Second purchase...... service remains excellent
Glad to have found Classic Shaving online for gifts and personal items. I appreciate the variety of products and believe the prices are reasonable. Both orders have been received quickly and packed to product the items. I do recommend Classic Shaving for your shaving needs.

scratch and sniff not available...
I ordered several items including soaps which had a nice lather but the scent was not for me... Gave them away to someone who likes the smell. Ordered a shaving set and the shaving mig arrived broken... Customer care was very responsive and quick to replace it so that was a good experience... Super friendly folks... But unfortunately the Internet is not scratch and sniff...

That would be pretty great, though, right? If you would ever like to receive a scent stick with an order you have already placed, please let us know, and we will accommodate you if we can! We don't have anything better set up at this time, but maybe in the future..

Good service
I received good to excellent service via website. Unfortunately, the shave brush holder does not fit my brush which I do not want to replace at this time. I would have returned but had gotten rid of billing info, etc. overall a very good experience.

Disappointed
For a period I considered Classic Shaving a knowledgeable, value source for good shaving instruments and supplies. My last order for a shaving brush and soap was disappointing. The CS brand shaving brush has a faint gamy odor, persisting after 2 weeks. I admit my smelling sense is above average, but I never had that in few previous brushes including 2 Italian ones purchased from CS. The soap that I usually order, scuttle 3", is no longer available. The 2.5" does not sit steady and wobbles in the bowl bought from CS. The unscented is even slightly smaller than the mint variety.

Sometimes there can be a bit of an odor, as it does come from an animal. Please try washing thoroughly with baby shampoo and then combing it out with a fine tooth comb. This should get rid of both the smell and any loose hairs. Our 3" puck is still available! It is not rounded on the bottom, but fun fact, our soaps are microwaveable, so you can melt and pour to suit any receptacle! Taylor of Old Bond Street also has a soap that is 3" and rounded on the bottom.
