Dear Sir / Madam The purchase of a Hart razor is my first straight razor. As a beginner I have no real comparison as to the sharpness of a zazor, but having said that I am an accomplished furniture making and own, use and sharpen my own cutting tools, i.e. chisels, gouges, machine blades and scrapers. All of varying compositions. I use extremely fine papers, compounds, wet stones and leathers to sharpen and hone my tools. I do believe the razor i received was not ready for use and will require further effort to sharpen and then hone. As one of the most expensive blades on the market I was a disappointed that it didn't arrived with an expertly and extremely sharpened edge. Thanks for your time David Brown

I ordered product on April 1 and it has still not been delivered on April 15. I would think that first class international postage should have arrived by now.....especially paying $15.95 postage for a $35.00 order. I should have waited another day, the product arrived the day after I posted my first review. In fairness I have updated my review....the product I ordered (shaving soap) is excellent. Based on your response below it seems 2 weeks for delivery is not unusual....although I have ordered other items from the US that have come by Fedex or UPS much quicker.

For the last two years I have been shaving with a Gillette adjustable razor which I found in an antique shop. For soap, I've abandoned the can for cake soap applied with a brush. This is the only place I can get that soap and any other supplies that I might need. You are here, and you have what I want; end of story.

I absolutely love my purchase. It was shipped extremely fast. I am actually looking forward to doing more business with you guys. I love safety razors, can't believe I've been using cartridge razors all these years. Thanks again.

I have tried many varieties of shaving soaps over the years and keep coming back to the classic Shaving basic soaps. They work best for me with good, soaking lather, pleasant aromas and great shaving.
