From October 5-13, I went by myself on the "Irish Adventure" group bus tour of 37 other people through Ireland. Good hotels and food. Our bus driver, Brian, was also our tour guide, during the driving part of our trip (we'd get off the bus and have other tour guides), and he regaled us with stories about the places we were viewing on our bus ride -- and he even sang some Irish songs along the way. The tour seemed very well organized, and Brian was always prompt and knew how to get things done. There were many enjoyable events of the trip: Galway, the sheep dog demonstration in Donegal, Gaelic Roots song and Irish dance concert, Sheehan's bar in Killarney (great free live music), the beautiful scenery/countryside along the way, and much more. I went on this tour solo, but I met a lot of kind, friendly people. My travel agent, Maeve at Go Irish tours, was wonderful. She was always extremely responsive, cheerful, and helpful. I have now been to 33 countries (lived in 3 foreign countries), and this was my very first group tour. Go Irish Tours / CIE Tours got it right! Thank you!

We fully booked and paid for a 10 day trip to Spain. After having our money for months, CIE arbitrarily cancelled the trip due to low demand. They called it an "act of god" and I lost $1750 as a deductible to the travel insurance. We were able to rebook with a more reputable company. Buyer Beware.

I’ve only experienced a couple of tour groups, EF Tours and CIE Tours. The difference between them is night and day with CIE getting an A+ for both my trip in 2017 & 2021 and EF getting an D- for the one and only time I had the misfortune of traveling with. My travels with CIE were half the cost of EF, yet the quality was a hundred times better. Everything was excellent from the hotels that ranged from great to superior and quality and comfort of the bus that you will spend a lot of time on because of the site seeing nature of the tour, to the excellence of the food and entertainment included. None of which would matter without the experience, care, professionalism, friendliness of the tour director who makes every step of your trip a pleasure and experience. I only wish that they operated around the world because I would choose them every single time‼️
