Would give a zero if possible. They use a contract service for delivery- after waiting over 1.5 hours for food the driver just cancelled our order. Customer service was absolutely no help.

If I could give zero I would!! Worst customer service.. we waited over 2 hours and no one in our family got fed. Solution was a cancellation not a solution!! Will never use again what a joke for customer service. Driver picked up the order and returned to the restaurant with our order. Nothing made sense on chownow end. Restaurant even credited us not to use them In the future out of their own money. Order door dash!! Don’t use if you want to eat dinner.

Do not use this platform to order from your favorite local restaurant. Recently paid attention to prices and order was 50% more to order through their link than to just call the restaurant itself. Highway robbery.

My wife ordered a meal from Tamarind Indian Cuisine (Edina Minnesota) on Tuesday April 28, 2026 online and it was automatically transferred to ChowNow. When the bill came there was a charge called "Support local fee" of $9.99 which she was never asked if she wanted to pay for this added charge or not. When I went to the restaurant to clear this up, the restaurant owner said that they never charged this but ChowNow did. When I called ChowNow they claimed that it is a maintenance fee for them but it is not called that on the bill so I feel that it is false and fraudulent information. We also ordered in January 2026 from the same restaurant and through ChowNow. At that time there was no "Support local fee charge" which makes us feel that ChowNow is trying to scam customers. I would warn anyone against using ChowNow.

I ordered food and it never arrived. The website cut off my address and would not let me fix it so not only did I never get my food but they refuse to give me a refund for a problem on THEIR site.

I’m really disappointed with the customer service experience. I accidentally placed an order at the wrong location and reached out for help, expecting some kind of support or resolution. Instead, I received inconsistent responses — one agent offered a $10 credit, while another told me to contact the store directly. In the end, I received no real assistance, no refund, and no food. It feels like there’s no clear system in place to support customers when issues come up. I wouldn’t rely on this service if there’s any chance something could go wrong with your order.

You only get one star because it wouldn’t let me leave zero. The worst. Only use then if you’re not hungry. Changed my delivery time three times then canceled the order after two hours. Restaurant says they never picked up the food. Time to fine a new business model You are the worst.
