Scammed an OG Customer
Participated in a group buy in March 2026, kept getting told that chimera always delivers. Patiently waited… then out of no where the owner goes silent for months after getting a product tested at 0% purity. Months go by…silence… not a single word from the owner, or the comms channels, or website updates.He even ghosted his own employees and they have not heard from him either. During this time of silence, one customer made a relatively large order to chimera and somehow got a response from the owner when questioned about his order via email: the owner replied with a picture of his view on a luxury resort while sipping on some alc. Bummers, I accepted I got scammed, time to move on. Many more months go by and I get an email from chimera, or rather, a “Letter from Mark,” his business partner. In the letter (can be read at chimera.is), mark flames his US and EU counterparts, flames his customers, and then gives an excuse: apparently the owner went to Greece to propose his girlfriend, then got into a freak accident while jet skiing. He ends the letter by saying we don’t even deserve a response from him and he could easily shutdown the company and never think about any of us again. Maybe that is for the better… Why was none of his customers, or even employees, informed of the owners leave? Why did mark wait until the very end of all this to give a response? Why did chimera continue to take orders during all of this? Why are you reopening the story now? Did the vacation funds run dry? So many questions… and lastly…I used to say it in your discord server as a joke but now I am serious: where is my tracking? It’s been 7 months. Chimera does NOT always deliver. Beware!!
