Impossible to get a hold of anyone.
Just like everybody else had the hardest time speaking to someone. Luckily my order didn't go through. I had to respond with my correct billing address with in 24 hours. I did much before that. Never got a reply. My ordered was cancelled. Tried to contact them through email (which they say is the best way to contact them). Called them over 10 times. Left voice mails. From what I found online they do some kind of drop shipping and they also outsource their call center, which makes sense. That is why some time it takes them forever to ship some products. They don't even know if that specific product is in stock.

I ordered 3 knives and Chicago Knife…
I ordered 3 knives and Chicago Knife Works has shipped Zero. Ordered beginning of December 2024, got a lot of BS from the owner and NOTHING. Buy beware Chicago Knife Works... This story is repeated all over the internet. No communication from Chicago Knife Works... Havent been nasty yet... But about too.

Stay Away
Stay Away! Ordered 4 perfectly legal knives to Canada. They "mistakenly" added a fifth knife, a butterfly knife, which is illegal in Canada. When i contacted them (which took forever) about it, they said too bad so sad, you should know the laws. I had the invoice and receipts showing what i had ordered which did not include a butterfly knife. They just ignored emails and i had to file a claim. Do NOT do business with these guys.

Beware - Chicago Knife Works provides No after Sale Customer Service on Defective Non-Function Items and will not respond to numerous attempts to contacts with photos sent to them via Sales-chicagoknifeworks.com nor do they answer or allow leaving voice messages at their contact phone# 10-workdays after delivery an I initial notification of defective item This one defective item took away any economic benefit of ordering almost $200 of items from www.chicagoknifeworks com Don't let saving a few $ persuade you and deter you from actually receiving a functional product from them. Dear Sir/ Madam, we do not cancel any ORDER without a reason. As you have not mentioned your order# while writing giving review or rating us. Therefore, it is hard for me to tell you exact issue of your order cancellation. Common Issue: different Billing Address and Shipping Address. We require same Billing & Shipping Address against all payment frauds or Cash Backs. Therefore, Whenever you place an order, make sure you put same billing and shipping address. As its common practice by all online stores.

I recently purchased a Buck compadre…
I recently purchased a Buck compadre axe and knife at very competitive prices. Both came with defects (the axe had a very severely bad grinde shape, and the retaining strap on the knife sheath was attached in the wrong position so that it doesn't hold the knife in the sheath). The return policy charges for restocking, so I will keep the blades - I get the sense that their prices are low because they sell defective stuff.

Customers beware, there is reason for lower price
Customers beware: If you decide to return any item make sure to take a video of the packing and label, I return item and got email with picture of empty box claiming I returned empty package. return policy said item has to be not used, in original box and condition then refund will be issue and yet I send empty package. I explained same thing to there customer service but there answer was person who open my package working there for many years and taking picture of empty box will do the justice?
