ChessMoodReviews of chessmood.com

the courses they make are very interesting, and very nicely made, they give interactive courses to ensure users understand what they are explaining. also, they are made with care and understanding of the game, with the grandmasters pouring their knowledge into the courses to teach the users. also, a lot of the times they invite grandmasters with different playstyle to explain their thought process to the users, letting them know of how a strong player thinks, giving basically a personalized training to those with the same style as the grandmasters, overall one of the best chess learning websites ever!

I love ChessMood. the content they provide is immense, and the structure of the lessons invites you to become a participant in the learning process by constantly checking on your understanding as you move through progressively more in-depth analysis...and the 'mood' they create is very caring and supportive...two thumbs-up!

I have use Chessmood for last few years , I must say I enjoy it, quality of teaching is amazing and wish I had it when I started playing chess will have save me lot of time. Also their customers service is awesome.

Very instructive videos. The best chess teaching experience i ever had.

I'm a beginner and mostly focused on their "rating booster" section. It covered all the fundamental elements of the game in great detail, with useful exercises. While some topics, like tactics and mates, are relatively easy to find everywhere, there opening repertoire for beginners, the 7Q method to make a middle game plan, the endgame roadmap for players under 2000 and "silent strategy" for positional concepts, really helped me go beyond tactics while staying at a level that a player like me can understand. Comprehensive material, and constantly evolving offer. I'm looking forward to the AI coach!

I've been a part of the Chessmood family since 2016. This was the single greatest decision I made to increase my chess rating. I was self taught before dismantling my approach and starting new with Chessmood. I've had such a positive experience with Chessmood and I'm so grateful for all they have done. They've gone above and beyond to give me all the tools necessary to growth in the sport of chess and to make it more enjoyable. 5 stars all the way.

In particular the courses and the daily puzzles are very instructive, I enjoy them the most!

The ChessMood courses are amazing. As a beginner, the courses provide a wealth of material for study. The materials are well-organized, thorough, and entertaining. It is obvious that GM Avetik put many thoughtful hours into developing ChessMood. The courses are so well-prepared and presented that it seems as if I have a personal chess coach at a remarkably, reasonable rate. I particularly enjoy having my morning coffee with GM Avetik while learning how to play chess (although my progress is slow, it's not GM Avetik's fault!). On another note, I had a minor technical difficulty with the site. I sent an email to Lily, from the Student Happiness Team, and she immediately responded and corrected my problem. She was a pleasure to deal with.
