I am very thankful to work with Cheryl and her team to learn how to share my message with a broader audience. They are the top professionals in the nation and provide very personal coaching interaction with every client. I am humbled, yet feel very honorable to learn and work with them. I am an aerospace composite engineer at the University of Southern Mississippi, and I used my expertise to fabricate modern and specialty PPEs. These PPEs have enhanced sealing and breathing comfortability. The users can wear them in dining and family gatherings, a true all-time and all scenarios protection to battle this invisible and non-boundary virus. We also want to share with the public that "we are 100% employed to fight the pandemic; everyone has essential roles in fighting the virus". Even though I spent a lot of effort sharing our inventions and pandemic fight ideas, they went nowhere until I met Cheryl and her team through Facebook. They helped me sharpen my core message and identify my target audience. My first featured article was published on Yahoo and has reached thousands of viewers. However, this is only a start to bringing our core message to a broader audience. Cheryl and the team coach me on my presentation and communication skills to reach more media platforms. I have been working with the Cheryl Hunter Group for several months and it has made a huge difference in our outreach marketing-media efforts. You’ve joined MYM, now what? That was how I first felt about what I had signed up for. I was confident if I did the program, it would work. My first zoom was a bit daunting as I was with fellow MYM newbies and some with vast experience. Listening to the success of others inspired me. They gave me the lift I needed to stay focused on my message and what I saw as the future with the help of MYM and the coaches. We all know the term it all starts at the top? With the coaches and administrative assistants working endlessly to make sure I was being supported, I was able to relax and do the work knowing there was a team of people cheering me on and helping when I tripped…OK, I stumbled a bit here and there, but the stumbles were valuable to hone my message and feel confident going out and getting on with my business. The most significant part of MYM is the program process. With MYM, I now have a lifelong plan. When I need motivation or a reminder of what I need to stay focused on, I can return to the modules and get that. Yes, I do miss the live support, but at some point, we all need to leave the nest, in this case, armed with a plan. I experienced some frustration because I had submitted a few articles to various news outlets and got no response. I was starting to doubt myself and what I was doing. Was I not approaching my articles the right way? I went back and reviewed all my notes and one of the modules on newsworthy articles – I took a deep breath and reminded myself this isn’t a quick fix. Then I woke up to an email from The Good Men Project telling me my article was published – Voila! Now the real work begins. I went back and wrote several more articles. I am much further along in my endeavor as a result of my MYM experience. It showed me how to navigate the media that would have taken years; now, only months. This program works. Ask what you need to be supported so you too can get to the place you envision for yourself. I cannot speak highly enough about Cheryl and the coaches.
