Started Nice - Turned Predatory
Caution Advised: My dealings with Dan have been far from positive. At first, he seemed reliable and quickly arranged a 130K CAN loan for me. But soon after, he dangled a seemingly better deal with OnDeck, alleging a second-year interest-free benefit. Acting on his recommendation, I canceled the CAN agreement to take the OnDeck for a full Recind of CAN, only to be hit with an unforeseen $8500 processing fee. To make matters worse, the proclaimed zero-interest period with OnDeck was a mirage. Dan's intent seems to have been to triple stack me Idea, CAN, and OnDeck, aiming for massive commissions — a move both CAN and OnDeck forbid as they seek to retain their prime first position. In summary, I was deceived into a $50K loss due to Dan's misleading information, presumably to increase his earnings. Even after these discrepancies, he audaciously proposed a refinance after a year, disguising it as an interest waiver. However, rolling over a loan is not the same as waiving its interest. Think twice if you're considering working with him. I love their positive reply - there are no regulations on brokers, and they can Lie/Steal/Mislead without repercussions - this person socked us for $100K in interest and $10K in fees while I was out of the country.
