CheapflightbuddyReviews of cheapflightbuddy.com

After i waited 5 hours to get a confirmation, i called and they said i could not get the price and i said refund me the money and i will continue checking. They refused to give me the refund a total bait and switch, I got a fraud alert from my bank when I initially booked the ticket, do not ever use them they are total bait and switch experts!

NEVER BOOK WITH THIS SITE IT'S A SCAM. THEY BOOK CHEAP FLIGHTS PUT YOU ON STANDBY AND THEN SELL YOU TICKETS THAT ARE DOUBLE WHAT YOU WOULD'VE PAID.

Booked a round trip flight from Reno,Nv. to Casper Wy. They called my back to tell me for $149.00 each way I could take luggage. I said What? They said no luggage or carry on. Then I asked for a supervisor he said they could do me a better deal for $92.00 each way. I said No! He also tried to change the date of my return flight by a day. I again said No! He then said flight was not guaranteed. I called my bank fraud dept. The supervisor from the flight called again to say they would refund all but $80.00. For a cancellation fee. He implied it was all the airlines fault. Such a scam!!! What a rip off company! I was on the phone for over an hour and they barely spoke English. Not impressed!!!

In the past, I have experienced similar issues with other agencies, but Cheapflightbuddy is by far the worst. The representative I dealt with, named Kyle, was incredibly arrogant and insulted my intelligence, literally telling me to my face that I was stupid. In summary, all the negative reviews about this company are completely accurate. Once you click to purchase what appears to be a "great deal" on a ticket, the trouble begins. The catch is that the deal you "purchased" is no longer available, because it was part of a promotion, on standby, or similar B*S* Additionally, the ticket, which you never actually purchased, is non-refundable according to their policy, meaning you cannot get your money back. Your only options are to update the ticket at a much higher price or risk falling into their "no refund policy" trap if you request cancellation. Alternatively, you can dispute the charge with your credit card company, or... I strongly advise you to STAY AWAY from this agency, or, if you choose to engage with them, I wish you good luck. P.S. Check them also on the BBB website, 100% NEGATIVE, which makes me believe the positive reviews here are somehow fraudulent, too.

They are TOTAL SCAM!!!!

This company needs to be honest that they are selling you a "standby ticket". They hide behind their " Terms and Conditions" and then hold you hostage to spend more money for a guaranteed ticket after you have received conformation that your flight is booked. When you asked for a refund, they charge half the price of what you already paid and have to wait 90 days for a refund that might not even come. Customer service is horrible!! The person on the phone was more concerned with speaking over me than allowing me to express my dismay. Save your money and even more, save the heartache of potentially not being able to get to your location on time.

First time booking for my daughter to come home from the Army. Read the fine print. I thought I got an amazing deal First class, joke was on me.. it was 1200.00. Tried to bump me down to economy just so she can bring a bag for a few hundred more. My bank immediately declined them and thank goodness. Book directly from airlines. Not worth the hassle. And its not that much of a difference as far as price. I did research and saw cheapflightbuddy had overwhelming bad reviews. Scammers for sure. Do Not trust them.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS WEBSITE!! SCAM ALERT!!! They will call you and try to charge you more than you booked and then will tell you the flight you booked was a transferable flight — which means it can be moved to a different day, time and different airports! SCAM STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!
