Fraudulent company they take your money then they send you and email confirmation and then they email you stating they couldn't reach you and change your flight to a reservation and then want you to pay for another flight

DO NOT USE cheapflightbuddy.com. Booked a flight then was told it was a standby ticket and I had to be flexible. To change the ticket I had to pay more than double the original price or loose all my previous payment. The amount that was charged was $500 more than the airlines website. Never again!!

The initial price was great! Problem is, within 5 hours I received an email stating there was an issue with the booking. I tried calling their 24/7 Customer Service and nobody answered. I was finally able to get hold of someone 4 hours later and was told that the original booking was non-refundable, only a cabin bag was allowed, and it was not insured. I was told that I could upgrade but that it would cost an extra $200 and would not be for the same dates/times I originally booked. I accepted because the dates are critical. Now I have been put on indeterminate hold trying to find out if I really have a booked flight. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. ps - I just received an email about my NEW booking. It is on a budget airline rather than my original booking on United. REALLY UNHAPPY WITH THIS SITE.

Y ESTAFADORES!

Booked a flight then found out it was a promotion with many restrictions such as no baggage allowed and we may have to move the dates by a few days each way. They called after the purchase was posted on credit card to explain these restrictions. The restrictions were NOT posted on the ticketing site.

SCAM. THEY do a bait and switch. TOTAL SCAM.

Do not buy airline tickets through this company They will tell you it's one price and then try to gouge you for more money after you booked. Their customer service is horrible, and if something goes wrong, they will NOT give you a refund. They suck incredibly big balls.

Warning: Do Not Purchase Tickets Through Cheap Flight Buddies – They Are a Scam I purchased a ticket through Cheap Flight Buddies online, and the next morning at 5:40 a.m., they called me claiming that my ticket was “standby” and that I needed to upgrade to secure a guaranteed seat. This was never stated on their website when I booked. My original fare was $368 CAD, but they said I had to pay $791 USD to make it a guaranteed flight. I reluctantly agreed to the upgrade just to confirm my ticket. Later, they called again saying that $149 USD had been declined, which was odd since I had more than enough funds on my credit card. They then demanded proof from my bank, showing details of which bank my credit card was issued from with a copy of an email or text approval from my bank, which is completely unusual and suspicious for any legitimate travel agency. They ultimately deducted $572 USD from my credit card and refused to issue a refund. In short: Avoid Cheap Flight Buddies at all costs. They may seem legitimate but they operate as scammers.
