Great location. Close to shops and restaurants. Pools were nice. Found a great company to set up blue resort chairs and umbrellas each day. That was a huge help. Beach was more crowded than I am used too but it was ok. Condo was nice. Had some nice bathroom updates. Upon arrival I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. The table and counters had not been wiped down from previous renter. So after further inspection I ended up washing all our linens again just to make sure. Patio furniture could use some updating. Overall I would stay in the condo community again but maybe a different unit.

Beach Music cottage in great location in the Wild Dunes Resort with easy access to the beach. Ample room for the eight members of our family. Would recommend ceiling fans for three bedrooms, as master bedroom is the only bedroom which has one. Also, due to heat and humidity, vents in half bath upstairs and bedroom upstairs had condensation dripping from them. Some sheetrock damage around vents noticed. And beds were not very comfortable. In spite of these items mentioned, we enjoyed our stay at Beach Music.

This the second time we have rented a vacation property on Dewees Island outside Charlestown but this is the first time we rented through the Charleston Coast Vacation Rentals. Making arrangements for the rental could not have been easier. The property was accurately represented by written description and photos. The home was very clean and well stocked with all amnities needed for our vacation. When we arrived at the island we were greeted by, Kathryn, the intern. She was lovely. She provided us with rental information, a map of the island and instructions for our week. She was our contact person throughout the week were we to have had any problems. Which we did not. The island is an adventure on its own. It was a nice addition to our visit to Charleston. Timing your outings to match ferry times can be a bit challenging but not terribly so. Sadly, we did not always feel welcome by the island owners. Most individuals were very kind and charming but some made comments that made our group mildly uncomfortable. That treatment was by no means the norm. Through our vacation interaction with others on the island was minimal and did not lessen our vacation experience. We had a wonderful time.

This was our first visit to Folly Beach. We stayed in the Charleston Beachfront Condos. The condo was very clean and well equipped.... in fact we really didn't need to bring most of the 'incidentals' (soap, toilet paper, hair dryer, etc) that they recommended because it was all there! We loved the proximity to restaurants, bars, and shops! We hardly moved the car all week. Since we were in an area that is mostly condos, the beach was very crowded.....but that is to be expected. One complaint.....and it may not seem like a big deal to some, but it can really change how you spend your day. There was not one umbrella or shaded area at either pool!! No way to stay at the pool and not be in the sun. If you didn't want to be in the sand with a beach umbrella, you had to go back to your room. This problem is so easily corrected, I just don't understand why it hasn't been.

The condo is beautiful and nicely furnished. The rooms are large. The location is ideal for beach and walking to shops. The only negative was housekeeping needs to clean floors better. There was a lot of sand and dust on the floors.

there needs to a a broom and dust pan placed in this unit instead of usining the vacuum cleaner to clean the kitchen floor.

Love the properties! Are beautiful and well maintained. I got my dates mixed up and was a day late getting there... the place was available for a full 7 days and they asked if I would be interested in getting another day - they said they would call me and let me know if there would be a discounted rate! Never called while we were there. So we left on the 6th day. I realize it was my error but would have appreciated a calll. Other than that the experience was great!!

Our house was so wonderfully spacious, easily accommodating 11 people. Each bedroom had their own shower. However I never got a warm shower the whole stay. Brr. Maybe the water heater needed to be bigger. We rented paddle boards. I think it would have been helpful for the rental company to let us know about the strong currents that occur with the tides going in and out. We were totally caught off guard by that! I think Folly Beach should put sidewalks along Ashley Avenue so that pedestrians can feel safer walking to and from town.
