There were multiple issues regarding maintenance. The most egregious item was cleanliness. The last thing we want to do when we arrive is clean the place, and organize it. There were also many safety related issues. There were also some real fundamental items that left us wondering if property maintenance was even happening. We have rented this property multiple times, and other are contemplating renting it as well. However, I'm not so sure we can be an advocate for this property after this last stay. We are planning out next event at the beach, and we may not book this property after all the details that were overlooked. We were also inconvenienced by a faulty refrigerator twice. The first time was understood. However, the replacement unit could have waited until we checked out the following day.

Most of staff very responsive. One employee who was in charge of registration was armed with an attitude of arrogance and dismissal. Otherwise the staff was very helpful. Condo was okay and met average standards. Floors were not cleaned upon arrival but they did send housekeeping.

the house was NOT clean and was not maintained very well. 1. floors and table tops were sticky and dusty 2. sliders and windows were smudgey 3. not enough towels and hand towels 4 multiple lights were burned out, especially in the toilet, where you had to go in complete darkness 5. the screened in porch did not work, many bugs were biting our guests 6. the tv's in some bedrooms did not work - no connection to cable 7. the wifi was weak and the comcast router kept resetting itself, many channels would not work because of loose wiring of the cable system to the TV 8. the quality of bedding was just economy - not high end 9. all utensils were low-end, all knives were dull, only one tiny cutting board, no platters for serving, only one sponge, just a utility kitchen all around For $1100 a night, this property left much to be desired and was a disappointment. The house itself and location was very nice, but whoever is managing it is showing a complete lack of care and attention to detail. We would consider renting there again next year, but not with the same level of cleanliness and detail.

The house was a complete wreck. None of the outside lights worked, we found dirty clothes under the couch and bed. The drywall was cracked in the master bedroom. All of the ac vents had rust and constantly leaked water. The toilets all ran, and we had to manually fix them with every use. The grass in the yard was not cut, and dog feces were throughout the yard when we arrived.

While our stay in Charleston was nice, we did have some issues with the house. We noticed on our second night that the 3 of the smoke detectors had batteries, but were not pushed in - meaning they were not working. The toilet on the 2nd floor would not flush on the 3rd day due to the chain on the handle broke. My boyfriend did a temporary fix with a spring from a clothes pin. He noticed this was temporarily fixed before with a safety pin. The light fixture in the bottom bedroom did not work. We replaced the bulb and it still would not work. My concern is faulty wiring. The back door to the deck fell off the first time we opened it due to a missing pin in the hinge. We fixed it by putting in a screw that was randomly found on the deck. The dishwasher did not work - it sounded like it was running - but did not clean dishes. We washed all by hand. We were unable to change the channel of the TV - directions left at the house did not work.

It was fine... the people sharing the house with my husband and I were looking for a cheaper option... You definitely get what you pay for. The house needs some updating. If you're looking for a spectacular house, this isn't it, but it was totally fine. ie: The bulbs in the bathrooms get so hot that its hard to stand in the bathroom and curl my hair/put on my makeup. The dishwasher didn't really get the dishes clean. The shower was a little gross. Our biggest complaint is that the cable didn't work. Yes, we were at the beach, so we shouldn't need it. But we like to gather at night and watch tv. (especially because it was unusually cold weather)

The beachfront location of the house was great, but we were disappointed by the lack of amenities. There was no hose to wash our feet and prevent sand from being tracked in. There were no cushions for the chairs on the decks, and the TVs were quite small and outdated. With minor appointments being added, this could be a nice house.

The location, the view and the accommodations were wonderful with this unit, Couples at Cabana Blue. We did experience some issues though that affected our review. The first night we arrived we killed two "Palmetto Bugs", which is a fancy name for roaches. I reached out to management right away to let them know and requested pest control. I reached out again the next morning with no response either time. On the third day, we went in person to report it to the office and were assured that they would send out pest control. It was at that time that we asked if there was a laundromat nearby and learned that the unit had a washer/dryer downstairs for us to use. No mention was made of this on any of the documents we were provided at check-in or in the unit itself. It would be good for mgmt to provide that info at check-in. Parking for this unit is a little inconvenient when raining, as it's not under cover and you have to maneuver your bags around the cars in the carport for the other units, and then up the stairs. On the last morning we were there (Day 6), we killed a 4th roach - no pest control was ever sent. Quite disappointing. Other than that, the unit was amazing.
