I feel I received the best treatment 12-9 & 12-10 with Carry.
The attending nurses explain theprocedure for both legs. The Anesthetist came and explain what she was intending to do and what experience I might have. Prior to the procedure the Doctor came in and said what he was intending to do. Following everything, I was given some samples of Eliquist which the Doctor wanted me to take for 90 days. After finding out the major cost for 90 days from a pharmacy I had to try and get the VA to help with furnishing me the med. The following day Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Carry, assisted with having all the paperwork from the procedure plus orders for Eliquis sent to my provider at the VA to get the required med. Thanks to Carry and her fast work I was approved for the 90 days for the med and received it before my samples were gone for Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Carry. She is one terrific Nurse.
