Had an appointment with Dr. Joshua Kim and it was like I was meeting with an AI bot. Zero personality and as an ophthalmologist he did not seem to care about my vision, only to finish with me as soon as he could and move on to another patient. I will not go back, nor would I recommend this practice to others.

I love Dr Schaub in the main Sarasota office, and the medical assistants have been very good too. However, this is the second time I have been unable to receive my eye prescription from the pharmacy that I selected. It is not a walmart problem. So two days after the script was written, I still get conflicting reports from the CFS call center that handles all incoming phone communications. I now call that office "The Wall"- you hit it, fall into a heap, and there is nothing you can do. I did everything I needed to do to get examined (waited 5 days to be seen), diagnosed, and am SOO close to getting meds- but seems I cannot. They are now lying about when they "sent it in" to the pharmacy. American Medicine has lost it's proud position of leader in the world, as it is only as good as the weakest link. Disgusted with a broken system!

Received an invoice for $300 + from Center for Sight. Upon review I realized that this office had failed to record my updated MediCare number even though I presented the card to the representative at my last office visit. Because Medicare and my supplement have always covered costs for my eye care I called the Customer Service number for US Eye as directed on my statement to try to resolve the issue. FOR MORE THAN FOUR HOURS I CALLED AND STAYED ON HOLD TO TRY TO REACH AN AGENT. TWICE AN AUTOMATED VOICE CUT ME OFF AND PROMISED A CALL-BACK THAT NEVER HAPPENED. US EYE owns and operates all Center for Sight offices throughout the South and is a large corporation. It is absolutely unacceptable that they have such incredibly POOR customer service . The only way I was able to resolve this billing error was to drive directly to my local Center for Sight office and ask for help. Kerrianne in the UTC office was very helpful and through extra emails to Billing staff and other efforts reassured me that the failure of the Center for Sight and USEye to record my new Medicare number should not create an undue financial burden…..let’s hope she’s correct. I still can’t believe that US Eye, one of the largest healthcare corporations in America has failed so miserably to provide BASIC customer service. I have lost faith in their service and caring and will not continue my eye care with this company.

I suppose it was the doctor i saw rather than the actual establishment... but the DO employ him. I spent over a half hour getting tests done, giving history, etc, which was fine. Then the doctor come in, seemingly in a great hurry, and asks "here for a first visit"? I just say there with my mouth open for a moment, unbelievable that he knew nothing about me and clearly hadn't looked at the chats and issues i had. His exam was so rushed and FAST and I was so disappointed and feeling that I was a nobody to him that I didn't ask the things I wanted to know. Then when i went out to look at glasses, I was there quite a while and there was no one there... another employee saw me looking around like I needed help, and she got up and walked away! NEVER AGAIN.

From the time I came in and left Was less than an hour! yeah and this was my first visit! They had all kinds of exams too! FANTASTIC service and they have it figured out! The building was awesome big and very professionally organized!!!

I have visited their Jacaranda office for my free annual vision exam, after I confirmed with the office and AETNA that it would be indeed a totally free exam. When checking in, I again had been reassured that the visit would be free. In the paperwork I noticed $60 fee for "refraction". I crossed it out and was again reassured that it was not needed. The doctor also had not provided it. Now I am stuck with $40 co-pay for "office visit" because they could not bill it as a free visual exam without "refraction". I contacted AETNA and the representative agreed that my responsibility was $0. I filed grievance with AETNA since the Center for Sight billing department insisted "that their policy was a mandatory$60 refraction to bill it as free visual exam". So what makes it free in AETNA benefits if Center for Sight makes it $40 for office visit or $60 for refraction?! I filed grievance with AETNA and hopefully it would be resolved. I will never go to this office again.

This is the worst eye exam experience I’ve ever had! From start to finish - The original owners have sold out to a big corporation and they are terrible!!!!! I had what seemed to be a teenage Latin boy do my so called eye exam - the “doctor” pooped in for a minute and I was done - they gave me a prescription and brought me into the eye glass SHOWROOM - and there I was pressured to buy frames, even though it was the end of the day and I was exhausted - the woman gave me a total LOVE BOMBING! She was So Good at selling I wound up spending well over a thousand dollars! The prescription was NEVER right for me!!! I kept going back and she kept telling me - Oh, you’ll get used to them! BS! I’m on the lookout for an old-fashioned real eye doctor - not a cheaply paid kid giving the eye exam! And a con girl salesperson! I hope I have good luck finding someone! I’m not sure exactly when this happened -

Called and called this office. Phone calls were never returned. This isn't a center for sight, it's a center for scammers who bully you into getting cataract surgery, then could care less about the outcome.
