Highly questionable business practices
I was happy enough with the apple stem cell product (though I take a lot of supplements and haven't noticed much difference not taking theirs), but I was unaware that I had been enrolled in a "membership" where Cellics charges $49 monthly whether or not you purchase product. To quote Maria at customer service, "The membership fee covers access to member pricing and discounts, and it may be charged regardless of whether a product order is placed during the month." Sound sketchy? I have asked four times for an explanation of what "member pricing and discounts" the membership fee covers, and Maria's response was that membership information was available to me "at checkout. " I find it hard to imagine that "member pricing and discounts" amount to savings of more than $49 a month, which may explain why Cellics is not forthcoming about these details. Also be advised that even though their phone number appears on the website and in Maria's email signature, they only offer email support. Don't waste your time trying to reach them by phone, as apparently your $49 monthly charge isn't sufficient for someone to answer the phone.
