Catch+ReleaseReviews of catchandrelease.com

After searching online for others with similar experiences, I came across some reviews here on Trustpilot and felt compelled to share my own frustrating experience. I was genuinely excited to work with Catch+Release when they reached out about licensing my footage. I had two different representatives emailing me, along with Instagram DMs, eagerly trying to secure the license. Communication was great when they wanted my footage, but unfortunately, it's been a completely different story when it comes to getting paid. My footage was licensed in early July, and I received confirmation that the payment process would begin within 45 days. It's now been over three months, and I still haven't received anything. I've followed up repeatedly, completed all the required payment steps, and have been told multiple times that my payment has been "escalated." Most recently, I was told their client hasn't paid them, but I'm still left without any concrete payment date. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially after being so excited about the opportunity. I shouldn't have to spend months chasing down payment for footage they've already licensed. I hope this gets resolved, but I wanted other creators to be aware of my experience.

I see my previous review was paid for to be hidden, clearly the matter is nowhere close to being resolved. My picture was licensed over 3 months ago and still have no clear timeline to when I’ll be paid after the contract stated 45 days from licensing. It’s honestly been a horrible experience. Sending multiple emails to any available email address I have . Getting replies after 15 working days. What should one do in this position?

I enjoyed the experience. It was seamless

The process was seamless. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I still haven't received an email from bill.com to set up payment

Working with catch and release has been seamless and added no time to my content creation but it’s opened up an entirely new possible revenue source just by showing my content that I’m posting already anyway.

Great communication and a fair agreement. I enjoy how easy navigating the platform and reviewing offers is!

It’s been 2 months since my picture had officially been licensed and I have not received payment. I’ve wrote emails and have not received any response. I’m very disappointed

I truly have enjoyed my experience with Catch and Release. To be honest they found me and wanted my content. The entire process from start to finish was simple. Any questions I had the team was quickly responsive and helpful. I look forward to working more with C+R in the future.
