I had a very disappointing experience
I had a very disappointing experience with Cataleads. Out of the 10 or so seller leads they sent over, not a single one turned into a legitimate opportunity. Most of the sellers were either completely unmotivated, confused about why they were being contacted, or thought I was personally trying to buy their home myself. The lead quality was extremely poor and felt unserious. Instead of connecting with actual motivated sellers, I spent a significant amount of time chasing dead-end conversations and clarifying basic misunderstandings. As a real estate professional, I understand not every lead will convert, but 0 out of 10 with this level of confusion is unacceptable at $3500. I would not recommend this service to agents looking for serious seller opportunities.

Hi Kayla, We were honestly surprised to see this review because it does not reflect the full context of your engagement, the service delivered, or the feedback shared while your campaign was active. We genuinely appreciate you giving us a shot, but this review leaves out important context. For transparency: you were with us for one month and received the full 10 phone-qualified seller appointments with recordings, notes, and details. We do not guarantee closed deals, signed listings, or in-person appointments. Our role is to generate and qualify seller opportunities. From there, the agent’s role is to follow up, handle objections, nurture, and convert “Not a single one turned into a legitimate opportunity.” This does not align with the feedback shared during the engagement. On a coaching/check-in call, when only 6 appointments had been delivered, you shared that you had reached 3 homeowners and that 2 of the 3 were actionable. There were still 4 appointments remaining. If an opportunity does not immediately become a signed listing, that does not mean it was not legitimate. Marketing creates qualified opportunities. The agent converts them “The sellers were unmotivated, confused, or not serious.” We respectfully disagree. These were not random names from a list. Each appointment goes through 3 layers of vetting - homeowner engagement, a phone qualification call, and QC review before handoff. Clients receive recordings and notes showing what was said and why it qualified. That does not mean every seller is immediately ready to sign. It means they met the qualification standard and agreed to speak with an agent. “They thought I was personally trying to buy their home myself.” This is a known objection in this channel, and we prepare clients for it during onboarding, as we have done on your onboarding call as well. On our calls, we make clear that a real estate brokerage/agent will be reaching out. Sellers may still ask clarifying questions. Agents must be prepared to handle that. “Chasing dead-end conversations and clarifying misunderstandings.” Once an appointment is handed off, the outcome depends heavily on the agent’s follow-up, tone, positioning, objection handling, and persistence. When you shared screenshots of those conversations, our team reviewed them and felt the need to escalate internally so our Operations Manager (also a licensed agent) could provide coaching. We can generate and qualify the opportunity, provide recordings and notes, and support with coaching, but we cannot control how the appointment is handled after handoff. “0 out of 10... is unacceptable at $3,500.” Again, this leaves out key facts. You received the full package, CSM support, a coaching call with our Operations Manager/licensed agent, acknowledged actionable opportunities while the campaign was active, and we replaced a lead you objected to even though that exclusion was not part of your original filtering criteria You were also with us for one month. Seller opportunities do not always convert inside 30 days. Pipeline, timing, seller motivation, follow-up, market conditions, and the agent’s sales process all play a role. The same quality of appointments delivered to you is what many of our clients use to build pipeline, book listing appointments, and close deals. So when one experience is framed as “0 out of 10,” despite actionable conversations being acknowledged during the campaign, we do not believe it is fair or accurate to place the entire outcome on lead quality alone. For those reading, these appointments come from the same process and quality control system our successful clients receive. CataLeads is a marketing and appointment generation partner...not a substitute for an agent’s follow-up, objection handling, or long-term nurture. We maintain documentation and stand by the fact that we delivered what was promised. We respectfully disagree with how this review characterizes the opportunities delivered and support provided.
