sketchy communication
I agreed to sell them a vision pro the week before last. I sent it thru Fedex with their shipping label and they received it last Monday and have had it six days. The day after that they sent me an email confirming receipt and telling me it would be in line for inspection and that would take 3-5 days. Wednesday—two days after receiving it—they sent me an email reminding me to ship it as if they didn’t get it. Support’s response hours latter was I could opt out of those emails but did again say it was in line for inspection so I was relieved. Yesterday, day five they had it, they sent me an email saying I would receive my Apple gift card within the hour. That was a little after 5 pm. An hour and a half latter I sent an email to their support which on their website they say one can contact 24/7. Another hour latter after no response I sent their support another email. No response until this morning 13 hours after the first email. Now they are saying allow 24 hours instead on one hour. It’s been 21 and still no payment. Now I am not sure if they are going to pay me or not but what I am sure of is their emails are inaccurate and cannot be trusted.

We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience pertaining to selling your device to us. There appears to be some clarification needed. We received your device on July 14th, towards the end of the day, and you were sent the Apple Gift Card confirmation email on July 18th which is within the 3-5 business day timeframe. The emails that you continued to receive beforehand are automated emails which are sent to all customers as a reminder to send in their device. As for the Apple Gift Card payment, Apple says it can take 1 hour although in certain cases it can take up to 24 hours for the gift card to be received. You have since been paid within the 24 hour time period and the issue has been resolved.
