The AI part I didn't see coming
I run an organization, I have children, and a busy life. I'd tried real estate before this. Business partners ready to go in with me, a couple of deals we chased, none of them worked out. The one that got closest was a mixed use multiparcel and it died over lender issues. I understood that we had dodged a bullet at the time and didn't let it stop me from pursuing my next deal and more knowledge and connections. Two months in, I have a company that is structured, branded, and sitting behind a website of its own. I have a family member who has kept $50K on the table for whatever we bring him next. I have people to call and a route to funding I did not have access to. And commercial real estate, which used to be a wall of terms, now reads like something I can work with. Then there is the part I was not expecting at all. What they have taught me about AI has gone straight into the organization I already run, and it has changed how I get through my week. I did not sign up for a real estate program to get that. I have not closed my first deal yet. I know it is coming, because I finally understand what I am looking at. And I will admit I still get nervous before an investor conversation, but I have them anyway. Be honest with yourself about what season you are in. If you are ready and you will put the work in, this is the right room.
