WHAT IS THIS THING FOR????
OMG Ive been in advertising for 40+ years and this commercial is so confusing. The guy in the ad doesn't explain what the item is?? I didn't know who this guy was?? Just that he's a veteran (thank you for you service) as are the guys that invented this thing which never is explained exactly what it is. Also, if this thing is lost or stolen, they will replace it for free. Replace what??? We still don't know what this thing is or what to do with it?????? It's like this commercial was written by my husband!! He expects me to know what he is thinking and knowledge of what he wants me to do without explaining what he's thinking or what he wants me to do. WHAT IS THIS THING FOR?????

It's a wallet. A wallet is a compact personal carrying accessory designed to organize, protect, store, and transport a person’s everyday financial and identification items, particularly payment cards, identification cards, and physical currency. A typical wallet intended to hold both cash and cards contains one or more dedicated card-retention areas sized to securely accommodate standard credit-card-sized items, generally including credit cards, debit cards, driver’s licenses, identification cards, access cards, insurance cards, membership cards, or similarly proportioned items. These card-retention areas may take the form of individual slots, stacked compartments, internal sleeves, elastic retainers, clamping mechanisms, plates, channels, pockets, or other structures designed to prevent the cards from unintentionally falling out while still allowing the user to remove and replace them when needed. The wallet also includes a means of carrying paper currency. Cash may be stored flat, folded once or multiple times, secured beneath a money clip or elastic strap, inserted into a bill compartment, retained beneath a plate or band, or held within another purpose-built cash-retention feature. The defining function is that the wallet provides a reasonably secure and convenient way to keep banknotes together with the user’s cards as part of a single portable personal item. A wallet may be constructed from materials such as leather, fabric, synthetic textiles, polymer, aluminum, steel, titanium, carbon fiber, wood, or combinations of those materials. Its construction may be soft, rigid, semi-rigid, folding, non-folding, expandable, minimalist, or traditionally compartmentalized. A wallet does not have to use the conventional bifold or trifold form; a compact rigid card holder that also incorporates a method for carrying folded cash still performs the functional role of a wallet. In functional terms, the principal characteristics of a cash-and-card wallet are: Card storage: It is capable of receiving and retaining one or more financial, identification, or similarly sized cards. Cash storage: It provides a mechanism or designated area for carrying paper currency. Organization: It keeps these items grouped together in a more orderly and accessible manner than carrying them loose. Retention and protection: It helps prevent cards and cash from being lost, scattered, bent, excessively worn, or unintentionally separated from the user. Portability: It is sufficiently compact to be carried on the person, commonly in a pocket, bag, purse, jacket, or similar personal carrying location. Repeated access: It is designed so the user can routinely remove and return cards or cash during ordinary transactions. Unified personal carry: It combines multiple everyday financial and identification items into one transportable accessory.
