Following a storm on 6/14/16 I was confronted with recarpeting my basement in time for guests who were arriving on 7/1/16. The management of Carpet One in Spirit Lake assisted me in replacing the damaged carpet and everything was completed and in excellent shape by 7/1/16. Their efforts were greatly appreciated.

The carpet installer was very quick. He installed the carpet in three bedrooms in an hour and a half. I was impressed how fast he installed it but after walking over it for a few days I can tell there are loose staples in the pad. I can hear staples in the pad crunch under my feet when I walk on the carpet. Slowing down and taking a little more time they could have made sure to get all the staples in securely. I understand there will be some staples that won't go in. I would have appreciated it if the installer would have taken the time to remove any loose staples. I would rather pay an installer to take twice the time to get the job done 100% right rather than take half the time and be 90% right. Overall I am pleased with the carpet and the installation. This is one thing with my installation that could be improved. After posting this review the store manager contacted me. He came out and explained it wasn't an installation issue but rather an imperfection in the carpet pad. He fixed the trouble spots I had found and offered to come out again when I find more trouble spots. I am very impressed with the quick response and their knowledge. They have been a very good company to work with.
